(ok, I think this topic is just random stuff, soo...)
I've always been wondering. I have the Scotti Bros CD releases of Off the Deep End and beyond, but Volcano releases of "Weird Al" Yankovic to UHFOMPSAOS, so I've wondered...
I have seen copies of Polka Party and Even Worse with pamphlets and all, but did all the other ALbums have that stuff? And also, when did they first appear on CD? CDs didn't really get popular till like late 80's right?

All of the albums from DTBS-on were released on CD alongside their vinyl or cassette counterparts. "In 3-D" was first released on CD in 1987, while the debut album had to wait until 1991.
As far as the inserts in the original CBS CDs, here's what was inside:
DTBS: four-page fold-out with lyrics, pictures, and credits
Polka Party!: complete lyric booklet
In 3-D: two-page insert with pictures and credits
Even: complete lyric booklet
GH1: two-page insert with pictures and credits
UHF: complete lyric booklet
When all of the '80s albums (except "UHF") were reissued in 1991 under BMG's distribution, all previous inserts were replaced with one-page cover inserts (or two-page inserts that are blank on the inside). When "UHF" was reissued in 1992 it fared slightly better, having a two-page insert that at least retained the credits inside.
And of course, all albums since OTDE have had the same inserts with all reissues.

This might belong in Hangin' 27, but I'm posting it here. Mods, feel free to move this.
