They are just words. Nothing wrong with them, nothing "inappropriate" or "dirty" about them. Get a friggin' clue.

Alright, I expanded the post to be more clear. If you want to take the discussion any further, I'll be glad to find somewhere else to do it.

It still makes no sense. There is nothing wrong with what our society calls "swear words", they are just words. No argument about it.

There will always be "swear words" in the sense that the language needs to have those taboo words, otherwise we'd have nothing to say when we accidentally drop a bowling ball on our feet.

But when you stop and think about it, the fact that "smurf" and "crud" mean the exact same thing in a literal sense, but one is considered socially acceptable while the other is somehow "bad" is kind of silly. That's what we're talking about. A word is just a series of sounds. It can be anything. But society has labeled certain sounds as offensive for... well, for no reason. They just are.

Also, most of the swear words refer to body parts or bodily functions, lol.

Very True, and I think that Crap is no longer an offensive word whatsoever, i mean if it really is that bad, could just say.. Stop Forwarding That Poop To Me.... but it doesn't have to same ring to it

Or they could say Stop Forwarding That Junk To Me, which would make a lot more sense in the context.

But that wouldn't mean the same thing.
In this instance, "crap" is referring to useless junk mail.
Poop means something else entirely.
