It's possible, but as Al said, not likely. Al might just have been playing it safe when he said he didn't think they'd be touring until next summer, but he must have had a reason for saying it. He probably knew when the album would be released when he made that statement, so I'd say the tour will start in the winter at the absolute earliest.Al's #27 fan @ Jul 20 2006, 01:21 AM wrote: Now that we know the release date, is it possible we'll have a winter (or earlier?) tour?

i think maybe a very short tour, as I dont think that Christmas time is a great idea for touring, not may people have the extra cash. Then in Feb he has both his anniversary and Nina's birthday, so he will want to be home for that. So I think we are looking at March at the earliest. It has all the holidays and other things out of the way so he will have more time and us fans will have some more cash on hand. Of course if he wanted to start touring on Feb 28th in the philly area, I wouldnt mind a birthday concert.

Well, the first leg of TWS went well into late November while the second ended in early November, so it doesn't seem as if the guys are against touring later in the year. I would love to see them be able to do a small, maybe forty-city "preview" trek before taking a break for the holidays and then having a huge freakin' summer tour, but 'tis only wishful thinking.
Or heck, I won't be selfish. Let's hope for another October run down under for our Aussie friends.

Al, if you do some early concerts, then you have to come to Pennsylvania. It's smack dab in the middle of the East Coast and you seem to have had quite a few dates in the Keystone State in the past.
