Actually, I did know it was there. I was just yanking your chain.

Question--- what goes on a tribute album? Is it songs inspired by Al and the band, Covers of songs--- or a mix of both?

Well, you can make covers of Al's Originals, Parodies of Al's originals, Originals about Al, and Skits about Al, uhhh anything that has to do with originals...no parodies of Al's songs, no covers of Al's parodies. You can do a song inspired by Al, as long as it refers to Al, or has to do with Al.

P.S. You can check out my Al tribute site Here

Well that clears it up. All I have to do now is:
Learn to play the accordion
Learn to sing
and think of something to sing about.

I figure, I've got an accordion... I might as well pay tribute to the dude who inspired me to get said accordion. I have perhaps the most fun and enjoyment playing that accordion, than doing anything else.
Of course, there's the lack of being able to play and sing that seem to be getting in the way, hehe.

Yeah, that would be cool. Well, you could always just dub your voice over the accordion. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it would be okay to sing to Weird Al Karaoke, too. Since, there is no profit (the money made goes back into the project)...I think that would be okay. Good Luck!
