I'm sure this has been posted, but from First World Problems:
"Oh no! There's a pizza lounge in the corner of my laptop screen!"

That's all I can hear, even when I'm deliberately listening for "pixel out"
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

I thought it was "I could break my rib cage, here is my age", so what I was hearing is a combo of what you were hearing.

Apparently, it's "I could read my rib cage, here is my age", so your second choice is correct.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

According to the lyrics in the MF booklet, the line is: "I could break my rib cage, here at my age."

I keep hearing "read my rib cage", but I think it's because shortly after MF leaked someone transcribed the lyrics here and wrote it as "read." So now that's all I can hear, even though I know it's wrong.

If Al would ever recall an album to fix a mistake, I think it should be MF so he can fix the distortion effects on "Inactive." They just muddy up the lyrics way too much, especially at the end. The line "My energy is shot" just sounds completely garbled. Until I read the real lyrics, it always sounded like he was saying "My inner child is shot", which makes no sense.

Just me or does that lyric make no sense?

The rib cage one? I suppose it makes a little bit of sense, but yeah...not the strongest lyric that could have gone there. The other section that doesn't quite work for me is the "Welcome to my new place" run. Huh? So the guy has a new apartment? Not sure what that has to do with him being inactive, but okay.

Of course, now we're talking about lines we hear correctly, but don't get! Maybe this should just move to the "Inactive" thread....

Happy Steve said that lyric was what tomato archive's second choice was. Not sure what his source is, but it's there on the Yankovic! site. Hmm...

There's another lyric from that song that I am not hearing at all. According to the Yankovic! site -
"My inner teenage drive, I'm never moving from this spot"
I'm hearing:
"My energy is shot, I'm never moving from this spot".
What does the MF booklet say? I bought my copy on itunes, so I didn't get a lyrics booklet.

The booklet says:
"I'm giving up, my energy is shot
I'm never moving from this spot"
