Not insanely huge, but I just heard "Landed" by Ben Folds on a Hilton hotel commercial on VH1.

Emo Phillips will be on The Bob and Tom Show Thursday, March 30, 2006. In the past when Emo has been on Bob and Tom, I've heard him mention Al. We'll see if he makes mention this time... Bob and Tom don't really like Al, for some reason...

Yay! *will be sure to tune in, even though she normally doesn't listen to that radio show*

Hmm, I didn't get the impression that they didn't like Al when they had him on their show back when PH came out. We don't get Bob and Tom here any more, so I won't be able to listen, anyway. Let me know what Emo says.

I recorded that interview, and yeah, they were fairly decent to him. But they have made some low blows about Al and his career... In fact, I'm going to go back and listen to that recording... I think I rememebr them making some snide remarks shortly after they got him off the phone.

You might be right there, now that I think about it. At least they were nice to him while he was there. It's a shame some of these dj's have to be like that.
Anyway, maybe Emo will mention the Weird Al Show DVD. You never know...

VH1 has bought the rights to all the episodes of Love Monkey, and the episode with the Ben Folds cameo should rerun April 11th

If you want to see more of Ben Folds, he appears on "Living in TV Land" with William Shatner. I'm watching it right now.

I didn't get to listen to all of Bob and tom. I only heard about 10 minutes of Emo. No mention of Al from what I heard. But, on the Bob and Tom website, under a short bio of Emo, it says: "FACTOID Emo Philips was in the movie "UHF" with "Weird" Al Yankovic."
Yeah... They got the quotation marks wrong, but it makes mention of Al anyway.
