Why exactly would it have to be at So Cal? The last ones weren't and had plenty of people. More specifically, what people would only appear in So Cal?

Middle of the country is best as it lessens the flight time for everybody. That being said, since most of Al's concerts are in the North East and SoCAl, either of those locations would be good as well.
