World of Weird Al Yankovic

The ad with Perform This Way, Fat, and SLN came on immediately after the Daily Show over the credits tonight. A new ad came on during the last act of the Colbert Report. It featured only Smells Like Nirvana footage and didn't reveal it was Al rather than Kurt until late in the ad, promising "the concert event of the decade", obviously trying to tie into the 20 year anniversary of Nevermind. I thought it was pretty clever.

I'm such a dolt I forgot if I even ordered this! I finally found out where. It says to be delivered by the 10th but I hope it's sooner..

Mine should be here by Tuesday, I hope!!

Is it just me, or are the promo ads like 10 seconds each (if that)?

Some ads just seem to go on and on -- not these.

The ads are 15 seconds each. Pretty standard for a Comedy Central hour-long special, actually.

They showed another "new" promo clip during "The Daily Show" tonight. This one had clips of PTW, Fat and Polka Face with the tagline "new hits...old classics...same Al." It does look even better.

Would anyone be able to record and upload some of the ads for those of us without cable?

Or those of us who usually do not watch comedy central

Caved and ordered the DVD. I didn't think I'd be able to wait until the holidays for this, anyways. Looking forward to watching it when it arives!
