I have an essay due tomorrow, but I can't get this song out of my head enough to actually write it.

I just glanced through all 27 pages *an omen, right?* of this topic, just to see what folks here had to say. I followed the drama on twitter myself. I will say I didn't totally hate on Lady Gaga at first, but I was disappointed. But now that I know it wasn't her fault and that she likes the song, and the album is a go, I am relieved for Al, although his day must have been 10,000 times more frustrating and intense than it was for all of us following the Gaga Saga.

I looked at my iTunes play count and I listened to this song over 100 times yesterday. Omigosh.

I couldn't get through Gaga's video for the song even once :/

ya the video is quite odd. I love her music and live performances but her videos are getting more and more disturbing

Perhaps Al and Gaga were in cahoots all along. Al knows a little controversy helps his sales. He also knows people WANTED him to do a Gaga parody since it was mentioned in Billboard last year, and he's since been asked endlessly about it. Gaga LIVES for media attention. This brought her some. Everybody wins especially the charity

It's great to know that someone agrees with me. This all just seems too convenient for me to just accept blindly.

I just have a tough time believing Al would go through this much trouble to pull a fast one on his fans. Gaga, sure...but Al? Look, this isn't the first time there's been a misunderstanding between Al and the artist's reps. I don't see a conspiracy here.
