Nucka just needs to grow up. That's all I have to say.

What's funny is most of you all say Nucka is trash, ok, you say hes trash by listening to music that uses racism and what not for JOKES, I guess no one can handle jokes now a days, you even have people from places he makes fun of say they like it, sure what he sings about is not mostly liked cause of everyone being so family oriented but at the end of the day, its a parody, its a funny song, and I could care less if he ripped on any race cause it's not like it means it.

If he does alright then, but still, don't hop on saying Nucka is a horrible person cause he makes funny songs which are more catchy and liked by more adults, don't get me wrong I've listend to Weird Al but I also Listen to Nucka, who of which I just prefer his music more.

Once you meet the guy or even talk to him then give an honest word about it cause until anyone meets him in person, you honestly have no say on what kind of a person he is.

I don't even think you have to go any further than "We don't like or appreciate the topics he chooses."

I mean, how many songs do you listen to that you don't want to listen the message the song is about? How can anyone enjoy listening to a song if you can't enjoy the lyrics? It's as simple as that. He didn't have to listen to our criticisms; we aren't and may never be his target audience. That's a fact. He's preaching to the choir. He shouldn't care about what we have to say because we (most of us, anyway) obviously aren't interested. Of course, when you send a troop of your biggest fans our way, we don't exactly have a choice.

I don't consider the raid on this forum a very good reflection of his character at all and I don't know if he actually expected anything "better" from us or what. I'd appreciate if my personal opinions on any given artist weren't criticized by someone with intentions of verbally beating the crap out of everyone that opposes him. It's great that he's so in touch with his fans, but he doesn't have to get up in our faces for every little thing we say on a forum. He's trying to shove his stuff down our throats, and that doesn't help most of our opinions of him at all.

I love how Nucka's Nuggalos (or whatever the hell they call themselves; we Al fans just kinda call ourselves...Al fans, I guess. Or by our names, that seems to work) seem to believe that our nation's Free Speech amendment, which of course gives Nucka the right to say anything he wants about race relations and "important issues" in his parody songs, DOES NOT extend to anyone who dares to criticize him for it. At least, not without being called faggots or Canadian Jews on our own privately-owned bloody forum. As for the "Ban Al From Twitter" campaign, well, to quote the U.S. Constitution precisely, "The inalienable freedom of speech, which of course shall permit any and all mockery of ethnic groups, SHALL NOT be extended to those who contain the sheer audacity and the unmitigated gall to attain 400x more Twitter followers than anyone who calls himself 'Nucka Nucka Ali.'" Any Civics teacher will tell you that's all written in the Constitution explicitly, somewhere in the middle there.

As for the Vanilla Ice analogy...at least when Al used a Queen song, HE ADMITTED IT.

some guy linked Nucka to this thread.. and he got pissed that we thought he was sub par and started screaming and whining on Twitter.. then JNN news started tweaking his tail subtly, and then Ryan jumped in with both boots, and it all got a bit crazy

Okay, so I still don`t know who Nucka is, but considering what he does to ruin our fandom, I guess he`s kind of a jerk.
...just saying, okay. I`ve never heard any of his stuff, so I can`t judge the guy on what he does, but it`s really a low blow to try and overthrow Al by invading this forum and making that kind of remark.
...Besides, I am Canadian, and I can assure you Al isn`t. If he was, fans wouldn`t hear about him as much in the US.

I usually respect all fandoms (I even respect Twilight fans, des pite me totally hating the series, as I keep saying everyone has teh right to like whatever they want to like), but Nucka`s whatever-he-calls-his-fans coming here and degradating a topic that was entertaining until it became a bullet storm, now that`s untolerable.

Whew. I'm glad we could get Ruckagate under control so quickly and expose him for who he really is.Thank you, Jon for digging up the dirt so no one else had to. Even though I get the impression that he respects all races and classes of people to some degree and that the race baiting humor in his songs is just his gimmick, he does seem quite the insecure person in real life. His Twitter feed makes him out to be someone with the emotional stability of a four year old. Gee, I sincerely hope that's also part of his act because I'd hate to think of him being like that if I ever met him in real life. Well...okay, I also sincerely hope I NEVER actually meet him in my lifetime, but it still makes you wonder about where his "persona" begins and ends. I'm also glad there are people who can enjoy both Al and Nucka and still present themselves as reasonable, level headed individuals. I also remember seeing his version of WYL on YouTube roughly around the same time Al's version came out and thinking it sucked without even knowing it was him or even who he was. Now, I'd like to direct you to my latest tweets directed at him personally which I refuse to censor...

Anyway, in case there are any "nuckas" still traipsing about this forum I'd like to address the topicality issue as I feel no one really touched on it. We're all aware that Nucka prides himself on parodies that are sometimes "ripped from the headlines" as it were and tackling what he at least perceives to be important sociopolitical issues of our time. Al has admitted to shying away from that with good reason: He wants his act to age well and stand the test of time. Al has said in countless interviews that he doesn't do songs about political issues because they would get too dated too quickly and he doesn't release albums often enough to be able to do that sort of thing. Guys like Paul Shanklin and Mark Russel fit that niche well as far as funny songs go. Al recognizes and respects that and lets them do their thing. Personally, if I wanted topical or political humor I'd go to Stewart or Colbert as they also fit that niche and I just like that humor in more of a stand up comedy type format than a musical one, but that all just goes back to humor being subjective.

Plus, Al got to where he is partly because he built up an outstanding track record and good standing with the rest of the music business over the past thirty years. We all know he asks permission from all his parody subjects more for personal/royalty reasons than legalities, but maybe Nucka could reach a wider audience and still be Nucka by doing just that. I'm not even sure any other established recording artist (including Al or even Justin Beiber who seems to be a favorite target of Nucka's venom) is even aware of Nucka's presence. If they are, I'd sure HATE to see their reactions to his parodies.

Anyway, I have this sudden inexplicable urge to start a petition to get Ryan Hipp banned from this forum. Who's with me?

Hilariously, Nucka Nucka Ali is now calling on the nuckas to form a news network to counter the propaganda being spread by JNN and other members of this forum. JNN may soon have its first true competition.

haha wow. I can't even begin to understand why it matters so much to him that he must constantly be in conflict with us. Is it really that important to him?

I love that you struck a cord with him, Jon. I find it hilarious that he's so in competition with these random fan base things that he's not even aware that there are no real ties to Al himself. (Other than the awesome news service about him, that is) Does he even realize that it's basically become derailed to the point that the only people he's even really in "competition with" are his FANS and not Al himself?

Maybe Nucka Nucka Ali needs to find something productive to do with his life instead of spending all day whining and complaining on Twitter about what we're saying on here. He really does have some sort of strange and unhealthy personal vendetta against Weird Al fans. It's just bizarre. I think he needs to realize that most of us simply don't like him or his music, and no matter how many names he calls us, that's not going to change.
