I have been informed that this link was posted in another topic just a few days ago. My apologies to Alfi for reposting it here.

Al got another brief mention on the Australian music quiz show Spicks and Specks this week. They were asked to identify Smells Like Nirvana (they saw a short video clip) and who sung it. Thankfully they did get it almost immediately, and no "Yankovic" either.

But the best bit is, this question was part of a category called (surprise surprise) Musical Comedy. This category of questions might be on the show for about four weeks. Whether the contestants will choose it is another thing altogether.

I did actually tape this and when I have a working capture card and way too much free time on my hands I'll upload it for you all.

hehe, I just had to postthis. I was watching "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air", and Will Smith used one of the lines from WBUL on a girl. He sorta flipped it around, and made it about her instead of himself, like Al did, though. He said something like: "I think I remember where I've seen your picture. It's in the dictionary under KABLAM!" And he said KABLAM with a great deal of enthusiasm. It was pretty funny.
