The Weird Al Show was awesome. I still watch it every Saturday morning when I drink my pot of coffee. Not one of the best series of the 90's lol.

I mentioned I only said that because so much badassery is going on in that illustration of Al, what with the flaming accordion, the sword, the flaming beach ball and the zombies, yet he has a Band-Aid on his knee. I suppose the Hawaiian shirt is not-so-badass, either. LOL! We'll see if Chris says anything. Most likely not, since he's sooo busy.

Oh, shoulda mentioned they're both wearing leather jackets, yet Al's has one sleeve missing. haha!

Guess this qualifies, so slightly as an "Al Pal", but Crispin Glover released an album back in 1990 or so. The producers of the album were Al friends Barnes and Barnes (Fish Heads for those that don't know their other work). Anyway, this song is the first single from that album:

Crispin Glover is an actor, notable for roles in Back to The Future, River's Edge, Charlie's Angels, Willard, Alice in Wonderland, etc.

Nice seeing Barnes and Barnes producing stuff for others.

The River's Edge is one my favorite metal movies. Crispin Glover tours around blasting Slayer and Bolt Thrower in his crappy car and his buddy kills his girlfriend but doesn't wanna help get rid of the body so he does it himself. Keanu Reeves plays another metalhead in that movie too, I think it was his first movie, or one of. I just love Crispin Glover playing a panicky metalhead running around trying to get rid of this body and nobody cares about it but him. Great movie for old school metalheads.

One person called and actually struck up a friendship with his mother and they kept in contact for several years I believe, been a while since I was told the story

I knew of the phone number but didn't know Al played on it. I just knew of the B&B connection, being a huge Glover fan. That's an added bonus now.
