The spoken part is my favorite part of Confessions Part III. I love to hear Al speakminnick27 @ June 14, 2009 07:24 pm wrote: I like the song, but the talking part kinda ruins it for me. Is that something that was done in Doors songs? Im only familiar with the hits, so I dont know.
Everytime I try to go to the website AOL.com it redirects me to AOL.co.ukTMBJon @ June 14, 2009 11:19 pm wrote: It's not AOL the service, it's just AOL.com - the internet/entertainment media port for media conglomerate AOL/TimeWarner. Somewhat surprising because Sony ultimately owns Zomba Records, but I imagine for things like this it doesn't really matter.
Other websites besides Amazon actually still have the preview up.bryce87 @ June 14, 2009 06:31 pm wrote: where the hell is the preview on amazon?
That's not exactly a new thing he's doing. On the last two albums especially, he's been reaching further back into older music styles and artists for his sources. Just on those two albums he's done Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, Billy Joel, Brian Wilson, and USA for Africa. This is just Al continuing the trend - and it's a good trend to continue! Much better than the food/television/movie-based songs.Bridger987 @ June 14, 2009 07:47 pm wrote: The more I listen to the song, the more I like it. I'm really glad to see Al deviate from the pop/rap songs of our era.
SPOILER ...But I was on a cell phone call with my mother.
