I have written a set of three limericks, called "Drawing Al":

I like to draw a nice pal
Yes, I like to draw Weird Al
Like he did in '96
Before he got his eyesight fixed
I may win an award right now

When I have free time I doodle
I draw Al with his poodle
Her name is Bela
She's a very nice fella
And that's what I draw when I doodle

I make my drawings smart
So they'll end up like professional art (not really

)
I have a drawer full
I use a pencil as my tool
And then go back to the start

How are they?

I wrote a poem about Al a while ago but i can remember the words well heres one i just threw together!

I used to be bored
all the time
until i heard a funny rhyme
I turned around to see
my friend looking at me
pointing towards the screen
i got up to see
what was so funny
and it was the video "I lost on jeopardy"
I asked my friend who wrote the song
and he said "weird al" yankovic!

and ive been a fan ever since

even though it was a different story but it was pretty close to the real story of how i became a fan of Al

i see 27 here and there
i see 27 everywhere!
i see 27 too and fro
im really annoyed ya know!
I beg and i plea
saying "Al can you help me?"
27's in my head and in my school
i cant get it away and its not funny or cool
kids say it in my face and the teachers do too!
when the bell rings everyone says "WOO!"
and i walk out with a 2
followed by a 7
creating the number known as
27

and the sad thing is that this poem is true!

j/k...Dr. Seuss, like Dr. Demento and Dr. Who, is a big hero of mine, and it sounds like you were influenced by him too, PF708.

the 2008 tour

I look at Weirdal.com
i see new tour dates!
the 2008 tour!!!
I tell my friend next week at school
then on Friday we check the price
we could afford VIP passes!
but his mom wont let us(

a few weeks later
my mom has great news!
her friend knows someone at Warner Theater who can get us great seats!
Im so excited and happy!
but im afraid of only 1 thing...
when he performs "Wanna B Ur Lovr"!

seriously!!! when he dances on the chairs....i dont wanna see that up close

Weird Al is a comedion
he plays songs on his accordion
he makes a lot of comedy
hes famous for his parodies
hes name is Alfred Yankovic
but it says Weird al in the CD booklet
listen to his CDs like poodle hat
I guarentee you will laugh

I know its bad...

It's not bad, seriously...

I know I tend to "dis" (as they say here)my own poetry but seriously mine was bad. If I had a better sense of poetry I wouldn't be listening to Therion, not that it's bad........
