You can read her name on it in the larger pic. Laura is my angel. She passed away in 2002. She did love Al's music, though. I put the chocolates in there with a freezer pack to keep them cool.
You can see how happy Al was, even before he saw them. squee! In the second pic, *lower left* he was asking me where I got them. At that point, he saw them. hehe, silly boy should know I make everything I give hm. Thanks for asking about the lunchbox.
wow, i'm really sorry about laura.. ;(

don't you think it would just be so cute for al to have a purple lunchbox? i mean, i don't know, i can't explain it... that would just be so cute!!

Thank you, secw. Yeah, it would be cute if Al had a purple lunchbox, I guess.

But that one's mine, so he can't have it!

:P

He might still have my Rubbermaid container, in which there were cookies I gave him in 2003. *Well, a stage hand gave them to him*. Hey, if you ever want a refill on that, Al, I can make it happen.

speaking of cookies....

more cookies!

so cute! - :inlove:
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Oh my gosh...this is definitely my new favorite page. :)

I am in the process of getting custom made Van's shoes with the "Straight Outta Lynwood" CD cover painted on them. I've been waiting for them for FIVE months now and the guy making them is really dragging his feet. But, you better believe the minute I get them I'm taking pictures and posting them here!

So glad you posted the bathtub pics, Patti. Now maybe Ghia can draw Al in the tub of chocolate like she promised! :P

I love those 'oozing' pics Lu! :9~

I was on 'General Al Blather' and they had this link to a radio interview with Al. I hadn't heard it before, but in the beginning of the interview they are talking about the sex appeal of playing the accordion - contracting and expanding, etc., and how the women swoon over Al. If you haven't heard it yet, here is the link
NPR radio interview
it's from 2007 I believe. Sweet. :inlove:
