Well we shared a quick glance
Saturday at the mall
I never took a chance
Never approached you at all
Yay!
I am victorious!
And we get a live action video!
I'm assuming that there will be only one set/place in the video. Or does Liam Lynch have a huge garage?
I read the first five lines of lyrics only.
Was this video shot in HD too?

Its a live-action video my first since White & Nerdy. But lower your expectations White & Nerdy had a huge budget, and Craigslist had a miniscule one. We shot it in Liams garage. Im not even kidding. As it turns out, though, the low budget vibe happens to dovetail well with the concept of the video, so dont worry, it all works out fine.
Jace, when I suggested it could be a live-action video this is what I had in mind...
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

This was before I learned that the new song had been leaked and Al's post on Myspace, but last night I had a dream where it was Tuesday and Al's new song was released but it wasn't Craigslist. Craigslist was to be released at a later date. Instead it was a song about dancing done in the style of the group Chromeo.

"I keep having these strange dreams, Doctor. They keep happening and telling me strange things"
"they are only dreams, just tell of them"
"An archangel whispered in my ear the location of the golden tickets for a album of Chromeo style parodies"
"Tell me where it is"
"But Doctor, this was a dream. a fantasy"
"Shut up and tell me where that Golden Ticket is!"
loosely paraphrased, would fix with imdb.com quotes...but lazy.

Edit: to avoid double posting.
So I've heard the song.
I'm really enjoying the whole instrumental arrangements and vocals.
I want to tell you whether its a list song or not and what the nature of the lyrics are without actually ruining any jokes....but to play it safe, I'll still put spoiler tags.
SPOILER No it is not a list song or even an eBay II. Each section of the song is a funny unique take on different aspects of Craigslist absurdity. You can breathe, now.
