I just finished listening to the song on YouTube and I love it! My mom and I were just talking about the horrible economy last night and how folks will be cutting back. I don't think there's going to be a problem with relevance since the economy, unfortunately, won't make a turnaround overnight. I'd love to see Al make a video for this one but I guess we'll have to wait and see how the other songs turn out and if this one makes the cut for album 13.
I don't know who TI is either but it didn't affect my enjoyment of the song; to this day, I haven't heard Chamillionaire's "Ridin'" and I've always loved W&N.

It has now has an advertisement on the main itunes page.
Finally!!! I see it on the new releases section. Did you actually see an ad on top of the store?

Ive not seen an Ad, but the song is now #70 on their top list.
I really love his song-- especially the fact that it's also a commentary on how tight things are getting with the econemy. I like the fact that it's a 99-cent single we can enjoy despite having to cut back on stuff.
While I'd never really heard the original, I think Al did a nice job. Sounds top notch!

When he records he actually records all the originals first. Then 2-3 parodies and a polka. then 1-3 more parodies, which include the lead single. Usually over the course of a year.

(hey Aron) did you ever post your artwork for this song?
The most Extreme Apologies for the double post.

I'd love to hear it, but since I, unfortunately, am one of the FEW people around that doesn't have ITunes, I'll have to wait for this to be either on the radio or on the new album.
I still buy cd's. I know, shocker.
And to think, I'm only 24. I'd rather have a physical cd for the time being.
