SOL was two CD's....I don't think that the next album will be a Dual Disc though, the format has been dying since before SOL was released.

Al should do an album where you have to play 4 CD's at the same time to create a giant wall of sound.

But people would have such a hard time getting their CD players to all synch up correctly!!!

Weirdojace beats me to it...

Anyway, SOL was not 2 CD's...
SOL was 1 CD, with the other side being a DVD.
I think Dual Discs are a great thing, but yeah, they are not always reliable.

4 CDs playing simultaneous is a very interesting concept, but it's not very good for normal playing.... like on an iPod.

JD, yeah, but you DON'T need to have them all synced, that way you experience something new every time you hear it.

Well, in some places it was a CD and DVD separately, but I think it will be just a CD because even though all of the special things added are awesome and gets people more interested in actually buying the CD, Al can't keep putting out the same extras.

I think #13 should be a 2-disc set like SOL was here.

from way back there...

And... it might be something even more spectacular than a DualDisc! Think about it, RWS had a secret video file, PH was an enhanced CD, SOL was a DualDisc... maybe by 2009 they'll have something even cooler!

I'm hoping for some R2D2-like Al hologram device so I can have a little concert on my coffee table.

Help me Al... you're my only hope.
