I'd love "You Make Me"! High energy with lots of clanking and randomness! That'd be fun!

As for "Hardware Store", I wonder if Al can really sing that gigantic list of items. I keep thinking there was some sort of trickery going on at the recording studio that allowed them to make it seem like he did it continuously without stopping, but if he did actually sing the list all in one breath, that would be absolutely stunning.

I'm hoping he comes back to the SDSU Open Aire Theatre, as he did twice during "Touring With Scissors".

Al did the Bridge in HS by slowing down the instrumental and recording the vocals in multiple recordings, then speeded up both the final version of the vocal track and instrumental.

I hope, if Al comes to Chicago and plays at Navy Pier or somewhere else, that he does full shows... I've seen a full show, but the short shows don't sound as fun as full shows... Then again, another venue Al probably would go to is Merrillville, IN... I saw him there on August 20, 2004, and it was amazing.

If you want a full show, then don't go to a fair or music festival. Go to a stand-alone concert in a theater. Well worthwhile! :)
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I'd like to see Addicted to Spuds. I think it'd fit into the setlist pretty well and wouldn't involve that much costuming. Just a good impression of the video with the dancers around him and possibly the Mr. Potato Head costumes as were described in the liner notes for Permanent Record.

Addicted To Spuds was actually performed in the RWS tour... So that'd make sence if it came back into the setlist... It'd be cool to see it live!

Yeah, but that was part of the medley with relatively little fanfare. This would be a full length production with, well, a lot of fanfare...

Addicted To Spuds was the opening song for the OTDE tour as well as in the tour when the Monkees closed for him. He also performed it for Dr. Demento's 20th Anniversary special on Comedy Central as well as a New Years Eve show on MTV. For that special the stage was crowded and he seemed like he was cramped up on stage. The Potato Heads are still really funny.
I guess I am one of the older fans. For the younger fans I imagine you missed all of that. I would not mind hearing Avacado or Chicken Pot Pie back in the medley. Midnight Star would be great especially with either updates or new verses. I also agree UHF would be fun to hear live.

After hearing "Free Delivery" return and act as the sole unreleased song on the last tour I'm also kinda wishing that more "classic" medley songs get rotated over the next couple of tours ("Chicken Pot Pie's" on the top of that list). But, if it came down to either including an old concert-only song or a new one...well, that ain't no choice at all.
