I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but I just got an email from CPFOA. Here is what it said about The Ultimate Videos:
Boy am I glad that I live in America. Unless this stuff are just easter eggs, and the Aussies have them too.

Dear Close Personal Friend of Al,
We just wanted to remind you that there's still time for you to be the first on your block to own the brand new DVD release: "WEIRD AL" YANKOVIC: The Ultimate Video Collection (official release date 11/4). All 24 (count 'em) of Al's world-famous music videos are here in one nifty package, including EAT IT, LIKE A SURGEON, FAT, SMELLS LIKE NIRVANA, AMISH PARADISE, THE SAGA BEGINS and many more... plus some great extras including clips from the now-legendary Weird Al Show and rare footage of Al's very first network television appearance.
Boy am I glad that I live in America. Unless this stuff are just easter eggs, and the Aussies have them too.

Okay, time to speculate! What clips from TWAS do you think will be on the DVD. Here are what I would want:
Fatman cartoons
Fred Huggins clips
Mini-videos for Lasagna and Living in the Fridge (most likely, IMO)
Flintstones parody
Fake commercials
Educational films
The only bad thing about this news is that it makes a DVD release of TWAS even less likely than it already is.

Oh, I don't know. He had to get permission to put TWAS clips on the DVD, so it shows that whoever owns the rights isn't planning to just sit on them.
Money talks. If the price is right and it can be shown to be profitable, they'll release it on DVD.

That's a good point. However, maybe he didn't have to get permission. We don't yet know what clips are included. For example, if they are only including the clips of the "Lasagna" and "LITF" videos, Al might own the rights to those in the same way he owns the rights to "Bob." But I hope you're right.
~Jeremy (who's not holding his breath for TWAS DVDs since Seinfeld is ranked number 4 on that DVD voting site and it's still not being released on DVD
