That sounds good Abbott, You should write it.
Oh yeah, I might parodize in a little while but right now I'm gonna start writing my third original to put up. Its called Complete Idiot. Havent started yet, but it sounds good in my head. Well so does hitting my neighbor with nunchucks but thats another story............
(edit): I just recorded my song "Evolution." onto a tape. It sounds okay for a beginning tape and I'll improve it then Ill put it on cd.

My latest tribute is one of Barnes and Barnes, "Weird Al", and Dr. Demento altogether! It's an updated cover of The Dr. Demento Anniversary Song that was performed by Barnes and Barnes with "Weird Al" Yankovic back in 1985.

Dr. Demento played it only a hand full of times...the last time was in 1991. Hopefully, if he likes my remake of it then he'll play it in October on his 35th Anniversary show...I'll be 21 in October - Now that would be a great present!

So, here is my remake of the Dr. Demento 15th Anniversary Song called...

Click Here - The Dr. Demento 35th Anniversary Song

Enjoy!
- Matt
PS. Originally written by Barnes and Barnes (Al played accordion and sang a few parts). I updated some of the lyrics (like the newer presidents)

In the year of 1970
Underneath the old smogberry tree
First was heard a man that we all know
The one and only Dr. Demento

Carter, Reagan, Bush, and Clinton too
Remember all they did and didn't do
Through it all, one consistency
Spending once a week with Dr. D

So wind your radios way up tight
Raise your glasses high tonight
Like wine, his spirit has fermented
So here's to him, the one who stays demented

Changes come, seasons pass
Like Alice through the looking glass
He shares a world of madness that we cheer
For Thirty-Five roly poly years.

So wind your radios way up tight
Raise your glasses high tonight
Like wine, his spirit has fermented
So here's to him, the one who stays demented

Don't forget to stay demented

Everybody sing
He has a very friendly, fuzzy face
And nobody could ever take his place
His fans around the globe will never dwindle
'Cause he fits so many records on his spindle

Stacks of laughing wax from floor to ceiling
Well, it gives him such a warm internal feeling
Whether you're Italian or Egyptian
He's bound to fill your musical prescription

Wind your radios way up tight
Raise your glasses high tonight
Like wine, his spirit has fermented
So here's to him, the one who stays demented

Wind your radios way up tight
Raise your glasses high tonight
Like wine, his spirit has fermented
So here's to him, the one who stays demented

In the year of 1970
Underneath the old smogberry trees
First was heard a man that we all know
The one and only Dr. Demento

That's pretty good Matt! Shouldn't you change this line to something about CDs though? Records are so 1985. :P

That's cool Jeffrey,
Yep, Al sent Belvedere to Dr. D back in 1976. Cool, let me know what you think! Music takes a lot of time and energy...4 songs in one day is pretty good! It took me 3 weeks to make this one...
Good luck with all your future recordings...
