Hey ya'll, Well yesterday was one of the coolest days ever. Im was in Latin class reading my project to the class and I'd written a song to go along with it. It was a parody of American Pie, which Al has parodied before, and I called it the ballad of trajanus since my report was on Trajan, the roman emperor. Well when I got to the chorus everyone was laughing at clapping along and I didnt mess up on it once. Then at the end everyone gave me a standing ovation. It felt so good......
That's great Jeff!
Reminds me of my junior high days when I used to sing stuff in front of my class mates. Actually there's a video from 1997 on my site where I was doing that. Hey Jeff, another cool thing to do is if your high school has a radio station then become a DJ and play your own stuff. That's what I did.

Also, oh my gosh!!! My new song is sounding soooooooooo good. Dr. D has so got to play this. It should be done and posted around the end of next week.

Hey, that would be cool Jeffrey. Will it be your first recorded song?
I started writing and recording originals back in 1997. After this Dr. Demento tribute I will release a data disc containing everything I have ever done!
Speaking of The Dr. Demento tribute...it will be done and posted by Friday night!

This is not the first one I've recorded. Ive recorded others, mostly funny poetry and one without music to see how my voice sounded. Not that good though. Ive got a tape of some stuff I did and a mock commercial or two. Not that good either, alot of early stuff, not planned out, I just did it. I'm also writing another original song that I plan to record. Its called Mr. Literal, Its about a guy who takes everything people say literally, its about half done now. It looks good.
I'd wanna see your song matt, I think it will be good. How much will this data disc have on it?

Hey jeffery and thatoneguy, i got a question to ask you....
Are You Gonna Be My Grill?
(Parody of Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?")
Go!!
Theres red, black, chrome, i wanna take them home
but i can't decide on which one will be mine
I said i can't decide
on which one will be mine
Thier shiney and neat, and they all will cook meat
When they're in my backyard
the decision will be hard.
stainless steal
it's four feet high
i can't wait
till' one is mine
Well I could see,
them cooking meat
wheather its a burger or a steak
I know I ain't got much more time,
before the summer gets away, yea!
I said, are you gonna be my grill?
Well times run down, and i look like a clown
cause its the middle of May
And a grill i don't have today
I say cause its the middle of May
And i don't have a grill today
Oh, its making me sick, i've lost all the chicks
now i do need that money
for a grill like that, right now
Stockpiled on
dogs and brats
but now i use
pans and pots
Well I could need,
one home with me,
but the store, they just ran out, no
I know I, ain't got much to say,
cause i waited till after May, no!
I said, are you gonna be my grill?
Oh yea. Oh yea. C'mon!
I could need,
one home with me,
but the store they just ran out, out
I know I, ain't got much to say,
cause i waited till after May, no!
Uh, be my grill.
Be my grill.
Are you gonna be my grill?! Yea

Ahh, I see.
This data disc will have everything I've done (1997 to now). Lyrics, MP3s, a few videos, pictures, that kind of stuff. So, eight years of "That One Guy"!
- Matt
PS. It won't have stuff like my Weird Al covers...for legal reasons...but it will have references to the site to find those.
After the Data Disc, then I will work on my first audio CD.
