World of Weird Al Yankovic

I think both terms are common, but "get a clue" is used more widely. I believe it was Al's pal Judy Tenuta who told Al to "grow a clue" on TWAS. Maybe it's a nod to her. hehe!

I played the new song for my fiance last night. She tolerates (for want of a better word) him for me (she's lovely), and I could see her smiling in a rather bored way thru a good chunk of it ... until it got to "Fartypants" ... and she completely lost it in a way I have never seen her do while listening to an Al song. She was laughing thru the rest of it, so I had to play it again so she could catch the second half or so. When it was over, she said, "Now that was funny!"

Later, we were watching television, and a commercial came on promoting some kind of health cereal or something ... I think it was called "Smart Selection" ... but half way thru it, because I guess the fibre made her think about it, she just randomly yelled out "FARTYPANTS!" and started cracking up again! I was laughing so hard, I had tears streaming down my face.

I love her all over again.

That's awesome! John(The Boyfriend) has told me again and again to "Stop playing it so much!" (He tolerates Al, but he's not too big of a fan.) I think I've gotten it stuck in his head. >:) (Song count is up to 137 now... ) Anyhoos, I love love love this song!!!

And it also found its way on a local morning show in Cleveland today...can't imagine how they heard about it.

One of my favorite Weird Al songs because...

1) I hate hate hate hate hate that stupid You're Beautiful song
2) I can actually apply to half of his lyrics

I use a nokia. Nokia makes a special cable that can be used with certain phones to backup your phone, take photos off of your phone, and take music off your phone...and also to put things on your phone such as files, photos, and music.

The phone isnt an mp3 phone....becasue one 30 sec mp3 takes up about 1/10 of my phones memory.
