BTW... it was very nice to meet you Carole. I am always so glad to meet true Al fans, and I think you were as true a fan as I could have hoped for. I have a picture I took of me and my boyfriend with you sitting behind us... it's lovely.
Is anyone else going to the Pigeon Forge show?
My mom... who wasn't a fan before this concert... has gone Al crazy and bought tickets for the Pigeon Forge show. It's wonderful.
Oh no! I'm in your picture. I was afraid of that.
So, I kinda figured your mom was getting hooked. Your lucky to have an accomplice like that. Mwa ha ha!

Those really are some nice pics on the venue's site. Here are some pictures that I took. Some are a little blurry, but some are pretty good.

Kevbo,
Great pics! It was so nice to meet you, and I'm so glad you finally got to meet Al after the show!
As to what kind of camera the venue used.. I must admit I didn't pay attention, even though the guy came and knelt right next to me to take most of those pics.. it was freaky huge professional photographer size, with lots of apparatus attached, and that's all I noticed (hey, Al was on the stage, do you blame me?).

I second that! I saw it too - it had a lens about a foot long! Very impressive and somewhat freaky since we're all used to those credit card sized digitals! Surely, he was the professional!
Ah, the good old days, when you could tell a serious photog by the size of his lens....I used to have a nice 35mm slr that took great pics, but the focus is off and I shelved it. Had a few nice lenses too. Oh the pics I could have had of Al. Oh well.

I did the same thing and uploaded mine to myspace. A little warning, nearly all of them SUCK. My Albuquerque pics turned out okay, but then, I was 2 feet from the stage at that point.
This is the last time I buy the cheap film. Maybe if I'm lucky and can get a job, the next concert I go to, I'll have a decent digital camera.
