Iggy Azalea was asked by a paparazzo if she'd like to see Al perform "Handy" at the Superbowl, and she replied, "Yes, he's awesome."

Cool. Can you understand what she says after he asks if she knows "Handy?" Hard for me to make it out....

Thanks, Muppetboy09. Well, that means we now have responses from all of the parodied artists on MF, all positive.

Gaga Saga II or Coolio Redux officially avoided.

(Unless we want to count Charli XCX. . .)

When "Weird Al" Yankovic writes and records a parody, does he first have to get a copy of the musical notes of the songs from the original artists record company, or do Al and his band already know how to play the songs by ear because they are professional musicians? How exactly does that work? What department of the record companies or who exactly sends Al the copies of the musical notes? Is it done through lawyers and management?

They transcribe their own parts by ear. In fact Inactive was the first time Jon ever asked an original artist for help.

I'm glad the artists don't get hurt when they are parodied by Al. He's absolutely fantastic in his job.
