Really fun show tonight. They have definitely fell in love with the new lights. So many awesome designs during different songs. Favorite has to be spelling out Yoda across the top four, and then alternating with the two stacked on the left and right of the stage, Yo-Yo-Yo-Yo-Yoda.
During Fat, there seemed to be a new backing track...unless I could just hear the original one clearer, as the sound was amazing tonight in the tier Mom and I were seated in.
The coffee shop was Bongo Java on Bellmont Street.
Al almost fell when the mic collapsed on him in Craigslist, and when he tripped over one of Steve's speaker set-ups during Perform This Way. Also, at the end of the show, he said Jon then paused, and said in a normal voice Bermuda Schwartz. There was also a time at the end of Yoda, where he stopped and in a normal voice said Yoda, then got back into singing.
Met up with Fred and my friend Isaac at the show tonight. Fred was in the lobby before the show, and while I was out taking a picture of the marquee, Mom saw that she had hurt her arm at work. I offered to help her carry her stuff, as she had a lot. Then, I saw my buddy Isaac after the show. Steve was out back, and we chatted with him for a minute. He had guests inside, so he had to go. The security guy at the bus told us the storm was coming in 15 minutes, and pulled out the radar on his phone. We were glad he did, as we decided to leave then. Made it without getting rained on, and it was already raining, as we pulled out of the parking building behind the theatre.
Great night, as our seats were in the last row of the tier, and there wasn't anyone around for 7 rows. Was like we had the concert all to ourselves, with the perfect overhead view that the show gives. Great time, and one of my favorite shows.
