I didn't see this anywhere on here, so I apologize if I am double-posting.

In a newsgroup, someone printed a track listing they claim to have found on Kazaa (I am downloading a song now...whoever it is has a sloooooow connection). There is also word on the newsgroup that the songs on Kazaa are not working, possibly posting by people tryin gto foil us spoiler-seekers.

Anyhow, I now present the track listing as was printed in alt.music.weird-al

Angry White Boy Polka

Bob

Party At The Leper Colony

Couch Potato

Trash Day

Ebay

Wanna B Ur Luvr

Why Does This Always Happen To Me

Ode To A Superhero

Genius In France

Hardware Store

A Complicated Song

Real? Not real? I have no idea, but I am sure I will enjoy reading the posts and theories!

:)

That sounds pretty fake..."Angry White Boy" obviously refers to Eminem, but are there enough of his songs everyone's heard to make a full polka? Personally I think it will be called "Poodle Polka." Just a guess.

"Wanna B Ur Luvr" sounds like the Spice Girls which have been out for about 5 years now.

Analyzing the spoiler track listing....

Angry White Boy Polka - hmm...the title leads me to believe its either a) an all-Eminem polka...B) an angsty-rap-rock-thingy-polka....c) just a regular rap polka.

Bob - no clue.

Party At The Leper Colony - we knew about this one...

Couch Potato - no clue.

Trash Day - no clue.

Ebay - no clue.

Wanna B Ur Luvr - Possibility that it is a parody of a song that misspelled its title as well (i.e., "Sk8er Boi", "Dirrrrty").

Why Does This Always Happen To Me - no clue.

Ode To A Superhero - no clue...possible parody of Five For Fighting "Superman"?

Genius In France - no clue

Hardware Store - no clue

A Complicated Song - hmm....possible parody of Avril "Complicated"...

since my last post, I have "successfully" been able to download all of the songs from Kazaa....and not one works. They are all pretty big files, but the tricky tricksters have seemingly pulled one over on me...again.

To protect themselves against people burning CDs and losing revenue, many record labels are including on the CD bonus features that you must have the CD to access (i.e. websites with exclusive music/footage that can only be attained by using an original store-bought CD). Perhaps Al has uncovered technology that, until we purchase the album, prevents these MP3s from being played. I don't even know if that's possible, but it's the best i could come up with.

Kudos to whoever is responsible for the ol' bait and switch....BERMUDA

Maybe this is real, I don't know, but I would caution on trusting Kazaa(googoo-Too shy :) ) as an accurate source for anything. No offense, but it's places like this where What if God Smoked Cannibus and the like are found.

That sounds pretty fake

Not trying to validate any rumors or anything, but that's how a lot of us reacted when the RWS tracklist was first leaked.

A viewpoint from a trusted poster I'll keep in mind. Anybody remember when abouts RWS info started leaking? Maybe I'm still in such disbelief we're in May that I'm losing track of time.

If that so-called "track listing" is indeed 100% real, then we can guess the following:

1) Bermuda said if we saw a track list, we could figure out one or two parodies from the song titles. Therefore, it would be likely that "A Complicated Song" is a parody of Avril Lavigne's "Complicated".

2) Bermuda said there would be a surprise that most people wouldn't expect. Many people on here have been speculating that Prince has finally given the green light for Al to do one of his songs as a parody. One of the "new tracks" on that list is entitled "Wanna Be Ur Luvr". Prince had a song called "I Wanna Be your Lover" that hit #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart very early in 1980...Maybe Al has done a polka makeover of that song a la "Bohemian Polka"...

Seriously though, I think the track listing is potentially bogus and may be the handiwork of our very own Mr. Schwarz...

Feel free to jump into this topic any time, Bemuda...

And Prince has a history of "abbreviating" his songs like that; I Would Die 4 U, Nothing Compares 2 U, etc

I have a feeling, real, intentionally faked, or WAY off base, this conversation will get much more interesting if Bermuda were to get involved. Man, I wish I didn't have to work today....

PS: The more I think about this track list, the more I'm actually starting to believe it...I'm starting to form possible parodies in my head. Yep, this is the kind of thing you do when you're an insomniac :sleepy:

Hey..."Angry White Boy Polka" might have Ben Folds "Rockin the Suburbs". :D If it is indeed real, it'll probably be a rap metal and punk polka. "Bob" sounds like Eminem's Stan. Or System of a Down's "Boom"

very own Mr. Schwarz...
Or maybe even his twin brother, Mr. Schwartz. :onfire:

And a couple of those song's names fit in with the chorus of Linkin Park's new song "Somewhere I belong" since there next single was JUST released.
