Great show, but not really a great theatre. My seat was in the very last row in the center orchestra, and the balcony hung so low that it blocked a top part of the stage. Also, the last few rows did not have any rise, and actually started to go down for my row, so my view of the stage would have been blocked from my seat. Our row had to sit on the top of our seats to be able to see the stage. I sat back down in my seat when the video clips played. Crowd was really into the show tonight, and stood for the entire encore. Couldn't see a thing, but loved it.

There was another problem with Smells Like Nirvana. The ending part where the lights flash happened, but the lights got stuck on that setting. This caused them to flash for the longest time I have seen on the end of the song. It was interesting to see the discussion happening in the technical booth right behind me all night long. Just how much goes into each and every thing you see in Al's show is amazing.

There was a line flub in Party In The CIA. Other than that, a pretty perfect show. Minus some different lighting effects being slightly off.

The coffee shop was Starbucks on Massachusetts Avenue.

They added a few more old videos in before White & Nerdy. After the FTF w/ Patrick Stewart, the grammy spin, Space Ghost, and Tony Maloney. Then, after the dancing bubble, the Al-TV parody of Alanis Morisette's Ironic.

Here's the updated list:

1st Video Break: Face To Face w/ Megan Fox
2nd: FTF w/ Nicholas Cage, King of the Hill, Futurama Johnny Bravo
3rd: FTF w/ Uma Thurman, Johnny Carson, Naked Gun
4th: Wheel of Fish, HIMYM, 5 Second Clips (4) Weird Owl, Charles Nelson Reilly GSN Intro
5th: FTF w/ Morgan Freeman, Hanson's Runaway Run, Til Death
6th: Weird -- Funny or Die Film, Beverly Hillbillies Intro
7th: Unreleased FTF w/ Sylvester Stallone, Halloween 2, Friends, Letterman, Accordion Burning, Clean-Up on Aisle 5 -- AlMusic, Cooking w/ Crazy (5 Second), The Cleveland Show
8th: Batman: The Brave and The Bold, Unreleased FTF w/ Antonio Banderas
9th: 30 Rock, College Humor-And The Band Played On
10th: Unreleased FTF w/ Patrick Stewart, Grammy Spin, Space Ghost, Tony Maloney, Al voicing a Dancing Bubble, Al-TV Parody of Alanis Morisette's 'Ironic', Jeopardy!
11th: Dirt-Educational Video, Fat Intro

After the show, I bought the last ever Bad Hair Day Tour T-Shirt. They are cleaning out the warehouse and selling some retro shirts that were left in there. Had Al sign it, and it was really ironic as for the concert, I wore the Bad Hair Day 'Everything You Know Is Wrong' shirt that Anna painted for me. So, I guess tonight's concert was my Bad Hair Day TimeWarp.

Also, after the show, had a conversation with Jim and a nice, long conversation with Steve. It was also interesting as this was the first show where I have literally seen security basically begging people to line up to meet Al. They had 5 or 6 different security people asking people to line up, and working the line, taking pictures, etc. Interesting occurence.

We had a great time at our first ever Al concert tonight. We sat in the center balcony and were able to see everything. Unfortunately, with two kids needing to go to school tomorrow and a 1.5 hour drive home, we could not stay to meet Al afterwards for autographs...hopefully he comes back soon!

What's the intro at the start of the show? Is it the same video of Al building the accordion "Freddy Krueger"-style (the one at the beginning of the recent concert DVD)?

If it is, that's kind of a shame. I would have loved if Al recut a new "flipping through channels" intro... I like to point out and find all the weird little video clips Al edits together. Plus, since the last time he's used the introduction, he could include guest introductions by Conan O'Brien and Craig Ferguson.

Absolutely agree with you Louie. I loved that intro. This new one is pretty short, and doesn't get the crowd laughing as much or as hyped up. Would love to see the old one make a comeback.

so i had a extra aftershow as kaffy couldnt make it, i saw Jeff Morris there, he does stuff for Dr Demento, got to talkin after the show waiting to go back, he was telling me that some ppl earlier saw him and asked if he would take a poster back to get signed, and i mentioned i had the extra why doesnt the guy go back himself, turned out it was for his son, so we took the kid back with us, Jon was back with us as a guy who was a promoter? back in the 80's and booked the guys in 85, we helped the kid get pix and autographs as he was shy, Jim was there talking with ppl, when we were being kicked out since everyone was gone, i scoped out for Steve, saw him on the side talking with Maria(catanddogdoctor) so i took the kid to him, never did get a pix with him, and then we just waited for Ruben, as he came out kid got a sig and pix, sorry forgot the kids name, he told us this was the highlight of his life and the 1st famous ppl he meet

the last 2 shows i didnt have a view of Jon and last night wasnt great either, so after the medly i decided to go in the balcony, usually when i can see Jon i take about 500+ if not 200-300, i ended up over 700, just love continus shooting, i should of went up b4 the medly, ill have to see how akron will be, Jon has the card, i use to burn cd's and give to him, now its give him the card of the night, returns it next show when i give him that one

Well, last night was my first "Weird Al" show. Took the wife and kids. Excellent seats, Row A 21-24. My wife sat in the isle seat with the two kids between us. The entire show was great but during WBUL, he came into th audience and bypassed my wife. But when he went back up onto the stage, he crouched in front of her and sang part of the song to her. That made her night, which in turn made mine! Since we had to drive three and a half hours home, to get the kids in bed for school we did not get to hang around after the show for possible autographs. No biggie! I'm sure I will definately be seeing him again! For as long as I have been going to concerts (first one in 1996) Weird Al has been on my top 5 list, got to cross him off last night! About 2 and a hlaf of great, side-splitting entertainment from one of the greatest performers of all time! Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did!

I didn't notice security "begging people to line up." and my girlfriend and I made a beeline for the buses right as soon as we got out. We did notice though them keeping things orderly, which was nice. They were cool with me.

Like I said, I noticed some problems with the audio mix, but nothing overly bad. The strobe staying on at the end of SLN was a nice touch. Hopefully I'll get to squeeze one more show in at some point this year.

Oh, and security dug my shirt.

Alinite27: I stood two people in front of you in the meet and greet line. I was the 30 something guy with his son talking with you about the old Murat shows (OTDE Tour and the PH tour). Loved your Everything You Know Is Wrong T Shirt!! I actually was talking to Jon about adding that into the tour set list sometime (perhaps some kind of retro originals medley???)

Oh cool. It was great talking to you for a bit Dustin! Thanks!

In "security begging people", they weren't really begging, but all I did was walk over to that side of the parking lot, and I had a security guy ask me if I wanted to meet Al. Then, he told me to stand in the line.
