No, but hopefully it was enough to make them want to go back. Club Soda would be a great place to have it again too, however theres endless amounts of prime venues all through Montreal, Club Soda is pretty ideal though.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Re: 2012 Tour
Any guesses as where else he will go this year on the East coast? I am guessing he won't come back to NC since he had 2 shows in the state last year. IN 2010 the closest he came was Knoxville Tn. that was a 4 hour drive. 3-4 hours is probably my limit.....

Re: 2012 Tour
Interesting about the tour schedule. Right now, we've got a block of 2 weeks of shows from April 28 to May 13 (a total of 12 shows) plus one July and one August date. Looking back at this thread, the first of these shows were announced nearly 4 months ago.
Any tour predictions? At this point, I have lowered my expectations and am basically predicting that 2012 will be a slim year for tour dates (with no Canadian or other international dates). I know that just because there's no news right now doesn't mean that exciting new things aren't in the works behind-the-scenes, but I guess dead periods kind of give off that vibe (even if it turns out to be an illusion). Of course, it goes without saying that I would love to be proven wrong.
Perhaps someone has a more optimistic prediction?
I wish Face to Face with WAY was taped in front of a live audience, as that could be almost as fun as a concert (for me personally) and would be a unique experience. I just love watching him live, whether he's singing, acting, playing his accordion, hosting a show, or being interviewed!

Nah, they'll announce more. Most likely sooner than later. Maybe not all that many during summer, but guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Re: 2012 Tour
Even though I'm probably only making it to one show this year, I'm extremely hopeful for this to become a full tour. Big tours are exciting! In fact, we've got little reason to believe otherwise, since the tour page (and even when Al himself talks about it) doesn't limit it to any seasonal portion this time.
My guess is that the dates are just being confirmed very slowly this time around. There's no way Al's busting out briefly from the end of April to mid-May and then two days over the entire Summer. Al did better that that with three months at the end of last year left, so I'm sure we're not going to be left hanging.

Re: 2012 Tour
I think if more dates are announced, there's a better chance they will be later in the summer around July/August. I could see Al taking some time off in May/June to be with family or work on other projects (like maybe filming some more "Face To Face" segments or recording some new originals in May).
