Woohoo, this concert is TONIGHT!
My kids are so excited, and so am I!
It's a bummer that this is on a school night, because we won't be able to hang around after the show to talk with other fans and try to meet Al and the band. I am hoping to get there an hour early to meet some WOWAY folks.
So far I believe Ali(son), Jeremy, and maybe Alexis are going... anyone else?
We're in Floor Left Center section, Row D, seats 101-105 (on the center aisle). Come say "hi!"
Here is a photo of me, so you know what I look like (I'm the one on the right

).
See you there!

Will the other guy in your picture be there, as well?

My daughter and I both had school the next day, but since the Minneapolis show was our first Al concert we stayed. And we were glad we did. Met Jeremy; got everyone's autograph except Bermuda's; photos of us with Al. Couldn't have been better. Worth all the lost sleep. (It's ok; I won't tell your kids.)

Haha, it's all fun with Mike now. Had a great time meeting you in Minneapolis!
The venue this show was in was real neat, as it was actually a veteran's memorial auditorium. So many different aspects of the memorial from different wars, etc. Nice place.
Al did You Make Me. In Craigslist, the coffee shop was Brew'd Awakening on Market Street. After Al went back to playing Words with Friends with Alec Baldwin again, he went on a rant about the coffee shop. "Ohhh...now, I get it. Brew'd Awakening...That's like Rude Awakening, except that it is with a coffee pun. Niiicccee....So, I said to the young lady behind the counter...", then it was normal from there.
During Party In The CIA, Al rubbed up and down his suit, during the line about snazzy suits and ties. Thinking that would have made the Al Gals happy.
Wanna B Ur Lovr was hilarious. The steps were on the right side of the stage. Al went down, around that part of the floor section, and started going up the center aisle. There wasn't any way back up on stage in the center, so with two lines left, Al had to run back around the way that he had came, while still livin' up the lovr persona. Made it perfect. Hilarious timing, and it would be even more hilarious if he planned it that way.
In Saga Begins, Al stopped in a place I had never seen before. Near the beginning of the song, as the crowd was singing along. He stopped, and created an awkward moment for the crowd. Then, after "Little Hotshot", Al stopped singing at one of the stormtroopers, for a little bit, and started back at "And in the end...". Also, during "Heee's", Al stopped in the middle of the "Heee", created a kind of cool echo effect, looked back at one of the stormtroopers, and then turned back to the mic, said the rest of the "eeee's", and finished off the song with the crowd singing.
The video screen problems from Akron were fixed, and everything worked perfectly.
Great concert! Fun night!

Jeremy summed up the details of the concert pretty well.
Maybe it was just me, but at several times during the show, the audio seemed a little off to me. Not sure how to describe it, except to say that I heard too much guitar and not enough of Al's voice. I only noticed it for a few seconds each time.
There was a man in the front row that looked like he was not really "into it." Al went over to him, made eye contact and
silly faces several times during the show. He tried to get him to do the Amish Paradise arm wave, to no avail. During Yoda, he went over to him and said, "Now just you!" There was an awkward silence, as the man apparently didn't know the words. He just sat there while Al was holding the microphone.
Al gave up, and went straight into the Yoda Chant.
I was a little annoyed about the way the seats were set up at the front of the auditorium. As Jeremy said, there wasn't a way back up to the stage directly from the center aisle. The venue had set up seats
right across the aisle in rows A and C, blocking access to the stage (their floor seats are movable, for different kinds of events). Al really had to rush to go back up the aisle and around the side of the theater in order to get back to the stage on time for "Girl you must be Jamaican..." This not how the concert seating chart appears on their website. I asked an usher about it, and she said they only do that if they think they need to prevent the audience from rushing the stage...

Really???
I was glad to meet Alison and her family before the show. I met another lady (don't know her name) who told me this was her 23rd Al concert!
We headed home right after the show because it was a school night, so we did not get a chance to see Al or the band this time. We did take a walk all the way around the venue and saw the line of fans waiting by the buses. I don't know if there was a meet by the buses or not... maybe Jeremy or Alison can tell us more.
Here is my photo album on Facebook, if you want to see the rest of my photos from the concert.
