$2,500 – $4,999 Artist ($320 non-deductible) Join / Renew
Includes all Benefactor benefits, plus:
Additional $100 ticket voucher valid for one year (total $250 value), redeemable at the box office
Backstage visit with artist (as available)

$5,000 – $9,999 Presenter ($570 non-deductible) Join / Renew
Includes all Encore benefits, plus:
Additional $250 ticket voucher valid for one year (total $500 value), redeemable at the box office
Invitation to exclusive backstage reception

Those are 2 of the levels of donors to the venue, I can't imagine there were that many at the Weird Al show, but that is my best bet as to how they got passes.

I think you've solved it, though. A venue thing, not an Al thing.

That's crazzzy.

See, it's stuff like this that makes things kind of crazy, because you start feeling that you need to spend thousands of $ just to get in on a meet and greet.

I'm glad that's not the normal way things go. :peace:

And you know that Al was not any more gracious to the $4,999 donor than he is to an eight-year-old who's been standing in line by the tour bus.

That 5 grand gets you meet and greets with ALL the artists and bands that perform there, assuming that the artist approves, they've been getting some big names in recent years, I would've loved to have met Jerry Seinfeld when he came this summer.

I hadn't seen this fan review of the Santa Rosa show before. I think he captures the vibe pretty well.

Haha, thanks for that link, Helen. That was a great review!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I like the part about Al making everyone feel better about themselves, no matter how weird or different they may be.
