Wonderful show!

My 23 year old daughter was my guest. First time going for her. It was great seeing how much she enjoyed it. :D

During WBUL, a lady in the 2nd row aisle got Al to let her put a dollar bill in his waistband. Ohmygosh, it was so cute and so funny!

During Yoda Al told the audience to sing "yoda", and then, Al said "now, only the transvestites!" and some guys actually sang from the audience!

No Frank's TV, but, my first time seeing it live: You Make Me :great:

I first saw Al around 1986 when he opened for the Monkees in Oklahoma City.

I had a great time at the show last night, I just wished he played a few more of his older songs. I would have love to have heard, "Dare to Be Stupid."
He played just about every song off the new album. I would say the highlight of the show was the 501st - (guessing it was the 501st) joining Al onstage when he played, "The Saga Begins." Darth Vardar, R2D2, and a a few Storm Troopers joined him.

I might not have this in order, but I'll do my best. After each song some video clip was played. A lot of Al TV interview clips. I had a fantastic time.

Yep, the rotating song was You Make Me... haha I consider this lucky for me since it's the second show I've gone to this year and they decided to play it AGAIN. This was definitely my favorite show so far. Even though we got stuck in the back balcony we had a great view and were still able to watch Al (for the most part) walk through the audience during Wanna B Ur Lovr. "Meg Schwartz" did a drum solo reprise before Canadian Idiot... meaning Bermuda did it with the wig on! It was hilarious. No real technical difficulties happened here, so I'm super glad for the band about that.

The 501st Legion was really funny; it seems like they've all gotten the memo about how to really enhance the humor of "The Saga Begins" now; both this and the Grand Prairie show had some really great background gags from them. The SLN cheerleaders were really good and coordinated at this one and I watched their routine for a while. In fact, during the whole show I couldn't help but look around the entire stage to see all the stuff happening. If there's one thing a balcony seat gives you, it's perspective, haha. Overall, the show went off without a single hitch and I had a blast at the show and afterward getting to meet and hang out with some fellow forum-goers. :) (Hint: someone had a birthday!)

I'm guessing Al and the band didn't come out for a meet and greet, because we stuck around until 12 AM and there was absolutely no sign of any of them that I could see... but I can totally understand that they might not want to meet. Not only did they give this show their absolute best, but they're also about to endure another show in about six or so hours!

Magic Salad wrote:Just got our tickets in the mail today for this concert. Section 3 Row F. Look for me and MissyMoo38 (aka Alicia, the girl in the chicken hat) and be sure to say hello!
You guys were a row behind us, and Alicia's outfit was quite interesting. :P This was a great show, and I was amazed at how many ancient tunes got pulled out during the melody.

I was wondering if anyone happened to snap a photo (or some vid) when Al was singing to my girlfriend during WBYL. I got a shot from my side and it was good, but was wondering if there was one from another angle. I got a little leery of taking too many photos, as I saw a venue guy warn the guy in front of me to put his camera away earlier. We were 5th row center.

One way, you say the cheerleaders were good, but I'm definitely going to need to see some pics to believe it
