Day started out with a very long stretch of driving. Went to pick Anna up in KY (4.5 hours), then to Rockford (8.5 hours). Ended up getting into Rockford around 5:30. Found the hotel, and met up with Jared. We then went to the venue, picking up McDonald's along the way. Got the venue around 7.

Saw where the busses were parked, and that there would most likely be a meet. Went into the theater and the doors opened at 7:30. Pre-show CD was CD 1. Got to hear my favorite tracks from it, while taking pics and talking with Anna and Jared.

Show started on time, although, they dimmed the house lights before the regular time in Fun Zone. The alternating songs were You Make Me and You Don't Love Me Anymore. The show was pretty interesting, as there were tons of line flubs tonight. Made everything different...most noticeable being the line flub in Saga Begins. Al had a lot of energy tonight. Really awesome show. Anna didn't get any Lovr attention, even though, she was on the aisle and only a few feet from Al...when he was at the top of the theater.

After the show, pretty good meet. Didn't get to see Steve for some reason, but got to see everyone else in the band. Had awesome interaction with Ruben. Got to talk to Jim for awhile, too. Al came out after awhile. I had him sign one of my Al-TV shoes that Anna made for me. We chatted about some show stuff, and he gave me a response to a tweet that I had sent him. Anna gave him his surprise drawing for this show, and he loved it. All 3 of mine, Anna's, and Jared's pictures were awesome with Al...Talked to the band members a little more before they loaded up the bus and left. Not sure where at all Steve was...as he was never around after the show....Fun night!

I'm curious what where the flubs? Any memorable flubs?

He was one of the first to leave the theater, but he went for a smoke by the equipment truck and then disappeared. I was soooo happy to meet Al though. the 2 hour drive was totally worth it.

I had a feeling he was going to come out when that Ozzy guy came out and started counting how people were there.

It was nice to meet some board members even if i didn't introduce myself.

I think the worst part of the show was knowing when it was going to end. When he played Fat. i knew it was going to be over soon.

Yeah, i always get sad then. But I love the upcoming two songs (well 3 if you include cellphones). This one was particularly sad because I knew it was my last show this tour. I seriously should have just done the drive to PA today. *sigh* Oh well. Holiday weekend traffic..would seriously suck. I still think you should have said hi :P

Video requests should go to PM. And I think I'm grateful you didn't get the shot. Given the angle it would probably have been seriously TMI.
