Well, I didn't go to the show in the you're pitiful outfit. I decided to wear that Monday in Missouri. I did design 3 shirts and my buddy made one. Al really enjoyed them! Once I get home, I'll post pictures.
And yeah...my brother embarrased me by grabbing the mic and screaming into it...Al and Steve said they thought it was cool tho...
Al sang to me 3 times during Wanna B Ur Lovr and It was great!

I'm so glad I have made my first Al buddy, Jeremy.

I loved meeting Al and some of the band and I can't wait untill Monday!! THEN i'll be wearing the You're Pitiful outfit!
When I get home i'll be sure to post a little more detailed review (it's probably just gonna be me saying how handsome he is...

)

I attended the show with Anna (annacanada) and we had a great time! We all had custom made shirts and everyone loved them.
This was my first show and I've never attended a concert that was as enjoyable as this one! I could tell Al loves performing for his fans and works the crowd really well!
We bought the VIP tickets so we were REALLY close, 2nd row! If i were any closer to him i think i would have been chewing on his leg. HAHAHa. He threw his water on us during "Smells like Nirvana" and surprised us with confetti rockets.
I absolutely loved "Dare To Be Stupid", It's my favorite song of all time. ! noticed Al didn't have the atom symbol on his outfit, and i figured it was because he got a new jumpsuit. I felt sorry for the guy who got smacked in the face during "Yoda" and Al made sure to apologize for it. The Star Wars outfits made the end of the show fabulous! They even had R2D2 spinning about on stage!
After the show we waited in line for about 40 minutes and got to meet Al, he autographed my shirt and took a picture of it on his phone. unfortunately due to the massive amounts of fans i wasn't able to get a good picture with Al, but Anna got a few photos of him signing my shirt!!!! I'll be sure to post them later.
I have one thing to say.... I LOVE AL!!!!!!!! <3
This show was amazing and i am very happy i got to experience it with good friends. I'm excited to see more of him in the future!

Thanks for explaining about the shirts and I really hope you wear the YP outfit on Monday, Anna. Such a cute idea!! I'll be waiting for your expanded review and your pics. I agree, Al is quite handsome. I really, really love the Craigslist outfit, especially those pants Al and I talked about ON THE PHONE!! LOL! *I still love that I got through and talked to him while he was at LAX on 6/14*
Glad you enjoyed the show, mcknzgrover1! Al does go all out and it shows that he really enjoys himself, as do the other band members. I love being close to the stage as well. This tour, didn't get to be up front, but still had fun. I've gotten annointed by the SLN water a few times myself. Always fun! Hopefully, he signed a shirt you were wearing. It still counts as an "Al and me" pic if so. Maybe next time you can get a posed pic with him. Love reading reviews, especially from first time Al concert goers!

Well, as soon as I got there I saw Steve walking around with a cup of coffee. My group went up and talked to him, and he was really sweet!

Saw the show. The moment he came out was amazing. My mouth was just open and I was like...Ohmygod there he is. THAT IS AL. I moved my mouth along to every song and never lost any of my energy. We got soaked with "Smells like Nirvana" water... When Al came up to my seat and sang, it was like a dream. I'm sure you've all been there before.
Here's a crappy picture I took with my cell phone during "we all have cell phones"

After the show I got really really really nervous about not being able to meet Al, but everything was fine. I got to meet Ruben, and he was a real funny guy! He said "Hey I remember you! You were one of the pretty girls in the audience"

Finally Al came out and we waited in line...They said NO posed photos and I was really nervous because, I REALLY wanted one. First, he saw my brother's shirt and asked if HE could take a picture of it with HIS phone! I thought that was amazing. Then, he wanted to take a picture of my best friend's shirt too! I did get a snapshot of that...

Then I stepped up to him and I was shaking like crazy. I really don't remember what happened or what was said but i do remember that i leaned kinda close ( there was a cop and securtiy next to him) and asked if he would take a picutre with me

BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE! I told him i'd see him in missouri! He didn't notice my shirt :/ but that's okay. I'm sure he'll notice my You're Pitiful outfit!
Then as we walked off, we ran into Steve again and talked to him for about 5 minutes.
It was a great night. I'm so happy I got to meet Al. Can't wait to see what happens Monday

Aww, how sweet of Ruben to say that about you! I have yet to meet him. I've met everyone else. I LOVE your shirt!! I would've said something. Maybe Al did notice, but forgot to say something?? Anyway, nice pics and how great you got sang to and got to meet Al, Steve and Ruben!

I'm noticing Al's shirt -- it's the same design as the one in the Eat It video. Probably a size or so larger now.

@weird_el I know where Al got that shirt from! I gave it to him during the Greensburg, PA stop (the night before). See, I work for 80stees.com, and we thought Al would appreciate that shirt, because he wore one similar to it in the "Eat It" video (ours is modeled on the one worn in Michael Jackson's "Beat It" video). If you want to see the product page, it's located
here.

This concert was awesome! I had second row seats, but off to the left. Looking through the pictures, I recognize the guy who was singing during Yoda. You guys should've hung around inside the building. I ran into Bermuda in the downstairs lobby, & they had a small meet at greet with Al. I don't know if it was based off the VIP passes or just because I followed the right people.
I saw Al twice during the Poodle Hat tour... in Nashville and in Toledo, but never was lucky enough to even spot him. This time I tried to follow people who seemed to know where they were going and I got an autograph and picture with Al! I was so excited though I froze up & didn't really say anything. It was my boyfriend who said "She'd like her picture taken with you." They had us go single file, & told us to stay quiet. So it seemed mkinda hush-hush.
I saw Steve too but my picture with him didn't come out too well. It was well worth the money to get second row seats. He sang a line of Wanna B Ur Lover to me which was great. His energy is amazing and he seems like a really nice guy. I've been listening to his music for 20 years and it was great.
Any of you lucky enough to be going again, that's awesome!
