How about "Stuck In The Closet With Vanna White"? I'm sorry, "Diana Wilde".

(I'm only kidding!)

For the other topic I didn`t remember the real name, so maybe I got it wrong. I haven`t done that one yet, and I have no plan of doing it for now because no lyrics come to my mind. However I got the chorus of EYKIW done, I`m waiting for the rest to come.

Okay, first I`m sorry for the double post. Second, tonight I was bored so I tried doing the inverted thing: taking a French song which I listened very often and translae it into English (and of course it can`t be an Al song). I`d like to post it here, just for fun, and if it`s good I`ll do a bit more, like once in a while. If any of you want to see that, I also got the Youtube link.

BONUS!
THis weekend I offer you not one, but two songs! One from Weird Al and the other from the artist I praised about earlier on this topic. So let`s first go with the French song transkated into English.

I HATE THAT
Singer: François Pérusse
Link to the original song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbYQv8JU ... re=related
Notes: That song represents exactly what is Pérusse`s style: sometmes he yodels, hemakes puns, there are many characters who interact, there is quite often a talking part in the song or before and he also often do parodies himself. That one parodies OMC`s How Bizarre. Maybe you don`t know him. The video is fan-made since Pérusse rarely, if ever, does videoclips for his songs. So none of these guys are Pérusse.

Where`s the guitarist?
I dunno…
Coming! Coming! …
Be careful!
BAF!

Okay. Let`s go.

Ever seen somebody who is called OMC?
Me I never did but that`s sure nothing to see

Trumpet I hate that
Like the rest of that song I dunno if you like that but me
I hate that
I hate that, I hate that

My manager told me
You`ll have a success like never before
You just have to sing like talking through a closed door (What?)
Notice that I seem drunk while singing this title
And when you sing a title drunk well you need subtitles
Oh I hate that
I hate that, I hate that

Ooh, baby (Oh I hate that)
You`re driving me crazy (Oh shut up I hate that I hate that)
When you sing we`d figure out (I hate that)
There`s a potato in your mouth (I hate that)

And if I`m popular I `ll do shows and this I hate that
`Cause you must remember the lyrics and… dam dee da dim dat
My manager told me, don`t worry, because if you don`t like that
Just take the money, go away and never ever ever come back
But I hate that
I hate that, I hate that
I hate that, I hate that
Oh I hate that, I hate that, I hate thaaaat, I hate THAT
Oh I HATE THAT-A!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, my sixth tanslated Weird Al song, Fat.

J`devrai avoir mon code postal

Quand ça te prend une seconde
Ça m`en prend vingt-trois
J`vais pas cirer mes souliers
Car je les vos même pas!

Parce que chuis gros, chuis gros, shamone
Tu l`sais, chuis gros, chuis gros, tu le sais
Tu sais chuis gros, chuis gros, allez tu le sais
Et mon ombre seule pèse 7 kilos
Ose me l`dire et je dirai « qui est gros? »

Si tu me vois arriver

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I always said that the first artist, François Pérusse, was the French Weird Al Yankovic. Too long to explain but I bet if these two artists were to meet up and discuss a while they`d feel like looking in the mirror of their talent. (that was well-said, gotta write it for my stories!)

Great work with "Gros" and I really liked the Pérusse song as well!

Great news everyone!

I finally did Albuquerque. Took me two hours but it was worth it. Result? 1728 words, four pages, and long text coupled with dialogs.

More news...

At college I bought an 80-page notebook where I`ll write my song translations. Before I was writing them on sheets as I said earlier, now I use sheets for the preparation and the aleady-thought-of lines, but the full songs are in this notebook. I got Lasagna, Twister, and Good Old Days. I got so many lines from so many songs, I rather take them in the order they are in my Mp3 player.

Here`s song #7, one day too late. Well, actualyl song #7 is Christmas at Ground Zero but I`ll do like for the French forum; I`ll keep it for Christmas.

No, actually since the other forum has younger people on it, I was censoring myself, which prevented me from posting Do I Creep you Out. That`s also why I`ll never post Jerry Springer there if I do it one day. For obvious reasons. BUt here, we all heard these songs, no matter how weird they sound whether they are in English or in French (and believe me when I say I take a look back at the weirdest songs I translated and I tell myself "boy, that was too weird for me.")

So, here`s Do I Creep you Out!

Might say that was a short one, but whatever. Also, I decided I would post one Pérusse song after five Weird Al songs, so that I don`t always talk about the "French Weird Al" as I like calling François Pérusse. Did you knew that guy not only did skits in Quebec, but also for Europe? Yes, he masters these two types of French, and he still has not autoproclaimed Genius in France. (it`s not because you know a whole lot more curse words that you are smarter :P ) Talking about curse words I`ll ask someone to PM me a list of all insults and curse words you use, for one Pérusse song...

Here it is, the one I was keeping for Halloween!

(Chants fantomatiques)
zihw eseehc ud egnam nataS
(Cris de terreur)
(Rire diabolique)

Le sentier de l`Enfer!
Le sentier de l`Enfer!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!

Le sentier de l`Enfer!
Le sentier de l`Enfer!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!
Le sentier de l`Enfer! (Mais qu`est-ce que tu attends?)
Le sentier de l`Enfer! (Va vite le voir tout de suite!)
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!
3D!

Le sentier de l`Enfer! (Bienvenue sur le sentier de l`Enfer)
Le sentier de l`Enfer! (Bienvenue sur le sentier de l`Enfer)
Le sentier de l`Enfeeeeeeeeeer en 3D!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!
Le sentier de l`Enfer en 3D!

I also posted it on the other forum, the one in Europe. It was well-welcomed, also due to the fact that there, it`s past midnight.
