I love things with meta aspects, is it possible for songs to break the 4th wall

Sort of. Unlike films though, songs generally concede that they are songs so I don't know that there really is a fourth wall.

Just a theory, but what if this was a style parody of Daft Punk? Would that even work?

I'm thinking that this might be something like "Fingertips" by TMBG. Like a random medley of things that would make good ringtones.

I wrote a parody a while back about how songs seem to be written for the sole purpose of being made into ringtones these days. Maybe Al's song will be something along these lines.

Since everyone is going on a limb to guess what the song will be about, I think it'll be about a guy (Al) whose phone rings at bad times with ringtones that make the situation more awkward (or something like that...that'd be hillarious!)

I think it's gonna be more in line with what Jace and the Doctor have said. Like throughout the song he gets more and more infuriated with you not picking up the phone and throughout the song he makes suggestions of what people might be calling you about.

That's true. Cell phones and texting are absolutely useless

I think maybe the song will either be about the song being a ringtone, or about how annoying ringtones can be
