well i was thinking goin into LA or vegas, kaffy thats great on the 30lbs, and let me know how cheap ya find, of course if im goin for the 16th, im also goin for 15th and 18th, im gonna check on SJC and see what i find

yeah, i can't really do any earlier though, I don't have much vacation time, so this would be the same type of thing really. getting in late, having all day saturday and leaving sometime sunday.
Since I've been so sick this winter its eaten up a lot of my vacation time w/ Dr's appts etc. Not good. I wish I could take sick time.. ooooooooo.. maybe I can call in sick on the 15th and just leave earlier.. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
I was just looking at my other days this summer that i needed off, and I may be able to take the 15th off to fly into CA.. Hmmm's

Fred, if you'd be going to the concert on the 15th in San Mateo there are a couple other airports you should check prices for: San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK). All four of these airports are within fairly easy driving distance from each other and the concert locations.

tried sfo, ill try oakland,............... ok they all seem to be in the 279.00-299.00 area

Sacramento is about 2.5-3 hours from Monterey- and there's a show at Cal Expo (the fairgrounds) 2 days after this one.

i just found round trip airfare from Midway Chicago on United for $289 through priceline. its getting back super late on sunday and I'd have to be at work on monday morning, but this could be do-able.

Yeah, the show on Aug. 18 is the Sacramento one.
