I don't think a parent would pay $27,000 (or whatever it is) to get Weird Al come to your house, ALthough I would if I was your parent and I had $27,000 laying around and I didn't need a new car. But I am thinking it is ALmost impossible to get ahold of Al since he will be on tour until October 20 now.

it would be hard to get Al and the band to come to ur house, becasue of the other people in ur hood.like if u lived in a townhouse and u were trying to sneack Al and the band in it would be easiy untill they get out of there cars (becasue they wouldn't come in a limo).trust me i had day dreams that they were trying to come to my house and we had this tent thing that covered the sidewalk and part of the of the street and that didn't work. but that is a dream, but of course they will have there body guards to help them in, strange i din't tink of that in my dream o well.

And remember that it's not so much that one needs to have x amount of dollars. They also need to be able to guarantee that their place has the right technical requirements to put on an Al concert, otherwise Al has the right to cancel.
Anyone who's seen one of Al's concert riders knows that they're very specific about what they need for the show in terms of stage size, lighting and audio requirements, etc., and this year it's even more meticulous.

I'm perfectly content with going to a concert and seeing Al live. He doesn't have to come to my house and play.
Now, if he wants to visit...

I'm reasonably sure that my condo association would object strenuously to a confetti cannon, too.

Getting Al to play a private concert would be so difficult. Yet if you have the money, renting a venue may be a good trick to find him a place to play.

I thought Al said that he didn't do private concerts. There have been so many interviews, Ask Al's, I sure don't remember where I read it.
Of course, the Boy Scouts is an obvious exception. He also did that Lake Mission Viejo concert, which was semi-private.
I always thought it would be cool if I won the lottery and got Al to do a private concert just for the fans. Wait! Something is wrong with that statement!
