How Listening To Al Helps Pass The Time

dang 8hrs in front of a computer, i would got insane, if i didn't have my MP3 or MY IPOD with me to listen to

I listened to Al during one biopsy, one surgery (the surgeon let me bring my iPod), airplane trips and long road trips - he helps immensely!

I listen to Al all the time but find my most stressing times are eased with Al...

I agree. My most stressful times are occupied by listening to Al. In fact, I should be listening to some right now... although going to bed sounds good too, but I need to unwind a tick before I do.

Anyhow. When I lost my mom in November, my world crumbled, but Al helped me hold it together. There are still quite a few things that make me bawl.. She was also a HUGE Al fan.. so. yeah.

Aww. *hugs Kaffy* My Laura liked Al, too.

I find that Al's music helps me get through stuff like washing dishes, doing laundry, and getting Derek ready for school. Sometimes, I'll dance around if the song is really upbeat. Derek likes Al, too. He especially likes if I sing along.

I'm always listening to him while on the net and whenever I'm tired I just lay down on my bed and out a cd/dvd in the dvd player for my tv and just rest. I rarely listen to music when doing housework unless my friend comes over. Then we turn on anything we like.

I can't listen to Al when I'm ready to sleep. I can't listen to any music that I like when I try to sleep, because my brain gets interested and I start singing along in my head, or humming, or tapping my foot...

I listen to Al when I'm mad and need to calm down, when I'm sad and need cheering up, or whenever I need a laugh.

I was listening to my MP3 which only have Al songs, and 10 hours in the car turned into about two hours.

Plus I cheer up. I'm a bit depressed and Al's songs have made me un-suicidal.

I still have that split personality thing though...

i know how u feel, u see my grandmother lives in a nursing home and she is very unstable so my mom and i go over and we take her to the mall,out to lunch ,anywhere we can thing of. but i am Be comeing Sad becasue she becomeing very slow, and i don't want to say thins but i think it is her time to go

. but not till i am ready to let her go, which will be never.So when ever i get to thinking about her dieing and leveing me i reach for my IPOD and cheer my self up, i wish i had Al when my grandfather died. that was hard to. but here is something funny, my brother and i buried are selves in leaves so my parents woundn't find us so that we could stay at my grandparents house.
