I know what you mean. Something tells me that this won't be a very full show....unless everyone is opting to sit in the balcony. Which unless they know something we don't, I don't know why anyone would do something like that.Alinite27 @ Aug 15 2007, 01:51 AM wrote: Well, I just got a ticket to this show. I was able to come up with Row B Center Orchestra, which appears to be 4th row with the Pit. Was kinda surprised that this good came up just a week before the show.

Okay, it looks like I'm going to have to up the ante a bit.CatraDhtem a.k.a. the secret identity of Aquaman @ Aug 13 2007, 10:50 PM wrote: Is anybody going to this show willing to take the Rock Hall petition with them? So far this concert is being unrepresented, and I would like to get a volunteer all set up with information while there's still time.
We are offering a FREE ticket to the concert to whomever wants it: Orchestra center, Row K, seat 211 (right on the aisle). The only catch is that you HAVE to collect petition signatures before and after the show...no ifs, ands, or buts. I'll get you all set up beforehand with pages (remember, you need Adobe Reader and a printer).
This ticket is being offered on good faith, as we would hate to see this concert go unrepresented. If there are any takers, and are WILLING TO TAKE THE PETITION WITH THEM AND ACTUALLY GET SIGNATURES THERE, please PM me as soon as possible.

Well after reading the Meet N Greet thread, I'm thinking the chances that he'll be meeting the general fans are slim to none for this show.
Seeing as how he has to get from Wilks-Barre, PA to Ontario Canada overnight.
:-(....well he could shock us all though.
Ah man, that would suck, but lets be optimistic. This will be my 9th (counts again) yea 9th show, and Im FINALLY going to be able to wait for Al. Let's just cross our fingers and hope. Is it safe to assume that f he's NOT going to sign, we'll be told early rather than waiting by the bus for 2 hours only to have Al zoom away?

Wow, I hadn't noted the schedule. That's a long drive. Made even longer that they have to go through customs. Which you know, they're gonna stop any smelly rock band and crew that comes through and search every nook and cranny of the buses really well for illegal substances.georgeheadcrush @ Aug 15 2007, 04:12 PM wrote: Seeing as how he has to get from Wilks-Barre, PA to Ontario Canada overnight.
At least Jim should sail through customs. I just hope they let him back into the U.S. again! Let's hope the border patrol are fans!

Yeah, Canada can be a pain to get into and out of. I know when we drove across into Winnipeg, and our reason was for a concert, the border patrol cops didn't really believe that. Of course, they don't know us well enough...The first guy going into, though, was a semi-fan of Al, so that helped.
When I talked to Laura for awhile before the Pigeon Forge show, she told me of some trouble they had after the last Canada stop getting one of the crew members back flying, so he had to go on the bus. Although, I'm sure Al and the guys are experienced with getting over and back. They better let Jim back in the US, though..lol.
It's not really that long, though...not any more than a couple of the 10 hour drives in our tour at the end of June from Ft. Yates to Duluth and Duluth to Sault Ste. Marie.
Can't wait for this show...

They may be flying the band and crew up, with the buses pulling an all-night drive.
Of course they'll let Jim back in- he has a dual citizenship... he's "at home" in both countries.
