Maybe if you phoned the ticket booth they could switch your seat for you. I'd would think being a single ticket you'd be the easiest to accommodate!Orthography Enthusiast @ Jul 8 2007, 01:44 PM wrote: Did you get one tic or two? I'm thinking maybe I wound up in Row H because I'm a singleton.

I liked the system too, but then was wondering why they don't just show all the available locations and let you pick like the airplanes do. Maybe it's just their way of making you work for good seats?steaming79 @ Jul 8 2007, 08:47 PM wrote: i was cycling thru the pair of seat for about 2-3 minutes. i REALLY liked the ticketing system compared to ticketmaster. i can't really think of a ticket service that allows you to refresh picks in real time, as well as display where the seats are located on the corresponding seating chart.
i made like cycled about a few dozen times til i noticed the same Row A seats popping up, then i knew it wasnt going to get any better. not too shabby for waking up around 10'ish and checking my e-Mail to see they just went on sale.

I got Row E, seats 113 & 114. (aisle!) My hands were sweaty when I clicked the button to confirm. My sweetie is not going to be happy that I spent this much money for a show...it's close to my birthday, sort of, so maybe I can tell him it's my gift.
The theater's site says this:
""Weird Al" Yankovic
"Straight Outta Lynwood Tour" Alfred Matthew Yankovic is rock music's greastest humorist. Since his first LP came out in 1983 he has sold more funny records, CD's and tapes than any other person on the planet. His works have earned him three Grammies amongst nine nominations, four gold and six platinum records."
greastest?

How do you get them online? I can't find the link.
Ooo lordy those prices. Oh, well. It's just one more night.
Edit: Found it! Row H, Seat 1 (Orch Left). Woot!! My favorite spot- about a third of the way down the stage right isle... prime Al swooning habitat.

Those prices made me glad I had to bow out of this one even though I have so many family members up there. But Al's San Diego House of Blues show is the following night, and those tickets only cost me $42, including all service charges, so I'm still a happy camper.
I'm real sorry to have to miss this show, though, with so many of my peeps in the audience.
I hope you all have a great time! It's a beautiful theatre, and Monterey is lovely.

Is anyone staying at a hotel that night? I don't think I'll want to drive 3 hours back home afterwards.

But hey, I'll be there, right?
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
