World of Weird Al Yankovic

You would think that I would be happy. My first Al concert and there are 12 in California, but they're all too far away except for the OC concert that my friend is taking me to. Of course I'm not too upset, one concert totally polkas and I know how long Australia had to wait for a tour, but you would think that Al would do some closer to his home in Los Angeles. What's a 13 year old to do in this predicament? Well, the only thing I can do now is wait and hope that he does one in Los Angeles or at least a bit closer with gas prices the way they are.

So far, the only 2 in VA are both in the Richmond area. He played Roanoke with TWS and the place was sold-out so I'm not sure why they're not willing to get him again. Probably too busy booking monster truck rallies, tractor pulls, and rodeos to make room for him.

He's also done a few in the Tidewater area which is about 4 hours from me and I'd be willing to go there to see him; my parents live just over an hour from the area so I can go see them at the same time. Maybe I can even talk them into going to a concert with me.

There's little change in the standings with today's single concert addition.

California has AL the fun. Nothing ever comes around my way that often. Except for the concert I am going to on Thursday which is only 17 minutes away

It's kinda messed up that I live in PA and can only got to 1 of the 5 shows due to where they are but I'll hit 2 of Ohio's 3 shows.

My mind completely blanked, and I can't find the post on here... wasn't there some milestone mark in september? The ______th show? How many again?

1,000. It was gonna be the SLO show, but I believe they added a couple (5 or 6) shows before then. Maybe Champaign will be 1,000?

I just counted. By my count, the Holmdel show was #983, so show #1000 is currently scheduled as September 8 at Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium in Idaho Falls, ID.

However, Fred recently found a concert that she attended that isn't/wasn't listed, and I'm not sure if that's been fixed yet, so if it hasn't been fixed, and assuming no other mistakes on Bermuda's list, #1000 moves up to September 7 at Utah State Fair in Salt Lake City, UT.

Based on my count of Jon's list on the site, the 1,000th show will be the September 9 show in Bozeman, and it's been noted in the Tourography for a while now. I'd be more than happy to correct that if someone has some missing information.
