Don't mean to offend, but am I the only one that finds Al a tad...feminine in that picture?

The only Sea World we have in Australia (that I know of) is all the way up at the Gold Coast and a fair drive from where I live. But they do have the Leslie Neilson and Eric Idle "Pirates" movie there. We...or I...can only pray "Haunted Lighthouse" makes it down here.

Well, ok. It's not the best picture of the Weird One I have ever seen. But feminine? Our boy could NEVER be feminine.

Harumph!

Shiver me timbers, but the lad's right!

'Tis those poofy pirate pantaloons that are to blame.

Slice me up and use me for mackerel bait if that costume designer hasn't earned a long walk down a short plank for cluttering up as fine and manly a set of hips as ever slithered down a mizzenmast :P :P :P (sorry, got a little distracted there).

Is it just me, or is there anybody else who'd love to see announced on WA.com that Al's been asked to write the theme song for "Haunted Lighthouse"?

I mean, the guy's already written 3 songs for as many movies ["This Is The Life" for JD; "UHF"; and "Spy Hard" -- 4 if you count "Polkamon"], 3 fake songs about real movies ["Yoda"; "Jurassic Park"; & "The Saga Begins"] plus at least 2 fake movie songs -- "Theme From Rocky XIII" and "Nature Trail To Hell" -- one of which is even a HORROR movie!! I mean, for crying out loud, what other credentials do you need??!?!?

That would be cool, but unfortunately most of those theme park movie attractions don't even bother to have credits, and the waiting line usually acts as the "opening" to set up the story...so there would be no real place to put a theme song.

If an attraction does decide to have some kind of credits, they're usually hidden in the actual building. The next time you go to "Back to the Future: The Ride" at Universal Studios, on the way out try looking at some of the walls outside.

You're absolutely right, Greg. That's what they do for rides, like BTTF or Jurassic Park. However, I gather from the theme park announcements that this is really a theater experience, just like their theme park 4-D movie "Pirates!" with Leslie Nielsen was. [Think in WDW something like "The Muppets 3-D".] While "extra-sensory" experiences are there to be sure [water squirting, seats rumbling, etc], they are also organized much like a 10-minute movie. And while they may not have "credits" per se in the beginning or end, they DO have opening sequence with the movie's title shown with background music playing to set the tone [like any major Tinseltown production would]. And THERE, as we view the lighthouse in the distance, would be the perfect place to stick a brief Al tune in the vein of "Nature Trail To Hell"!!

C'mon. We can dream. Wouldn't it be SOOOOO cool?? 8)

[wondering how the hell somebody would bootleg that song ... Bring a tape recorder to a theme park?? And watch it get squirted and destroyed by the movie's 4-D effects??]

Nope, it's definitely HOW. Trust me, if Al really did do the theme song for it, SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY, SOMEBODY would find a way to bootleg it!! You can lay money on it!
