If you meant JKAudio -- yes, I remember him. I met him at ALCON and he was a cool guy. As for Frank -- would that be Frank Sanchez? He played bass on the Placebo songs. I met him when I went to CA 5 years ago. He's the most Al-relevant Frank I can think of.

Nice review, Jackie! I know JKAudio, too. His name is Jeremy. I also met him at AlCon III. Very nice guy. Thanks to him, I have my stand-up routine on video! *along with some other cool footage from Alcon III*. Cool about your friend picking up on the Ben Folds homage with WDTAHTM. I love it! I'm kinda hoping he plays that one in Jackson. Well, here's hoping you at least got some aftershow pics.

:D

Glad you finally got your cameras in. Some security just have that rent-a-cop "I'm better than you" attitude. I'm surprised they didn't ask to see the Target reciept! :P

I love WDTAHTM- such a beautiful piece, musically. I wish he played it more often.

Thanks for the review!

Oh yes, Jeremy! I remember him. I'm glad he's still around for the Alness. He was very nice to talk to at AlCon. Frank was also very nice at Orange County in 2002. Ah, that was a good year.

OH...if you had a DISPOSABLE camera (which you could buy in the venue, how convenient!) those were OK. Their search was not all that great, either, as I did see a LOT of cameras in the audience and no one was stopping those.

Gee, that sounds like Kansas City's camera policy during the PH tour. Starlight Theatre, i think it was. Gee, some venues this tour are really being evil with the picture taking.

Glad to hear you guys got your cameras in eventually. That ticks me off though that some venues tell you absolutely not, and then they start selling disposables!! GRR!!

Anyhow. Thanks for the review! :)

Yep, the person from the Forum was JKaudio. And the Frank was indeed Frank Sanchez, who played bass on the Placebo EP version of "Happy Birthday." Very friendly guy, and easy to talk to. Like Jackie said, he was as excited to meet me as I was to meet him, which caught me a bit off guard actually. I never did ask him why he was in Denver, last I knew he was living in Southern California. I missed him at ALCON III. I didn't know he was there, and I didn't know "who" he was until afterwards anyway.

The camera thing was really stupid on my part. I took my camera out to take a picture of the marquee, and I didn't see the yellow shirt security dude standing right in front of me. They were only casually checking bags, and if I had done what I usually do and stick my camera in my pocket or the front pocket of my "White & Nerdy" bookbag, I would have gotten it in no problem. A big thank you to the promoter guy who noticed something was wrong and let me and Jackie in with our cameras anyway.
