It's great to hear the new song is getting so much publicity! Silly record company politics may have led to something good, after all!

Yeah, I saw that in a Google Alert this morning. When I first saw it was an XBox site, it cracked me up that the song was mentioned on there. I guess mentioning Halo 2 doesn't hurt your song's publicity. This song really does seem to be getting a lot of attention. I wonder if anyone (i.e. mtv.com) will pick up on the "silly record label politics" and do a story about it, like they did with the Eminem feud.

Nice mention! I don't care for the headline, saying Al's come out of "semi-retirement", but as other people have mentioned, he does make up for it by saying he knows Al has come out with stuff since Amish Paradise.

The "semi-retirement" part didn't bug me too much, as instead it just reminded me of "Behind the Music" when Al was recalling people who come up to him and ask "Didn't you used to do those funny little songs on the radio?"
I just can't get too peeved at a media mention which essentially says "Hooray, Weird Al is back!"

Since YP is getting a lot of attention in the media, let's keep all the mentions to one topic.

I think it's cool that
You're Pitiful got a mention on an X-Box site. Apparently, they enjoyed Al's reference to
Halo 2.

I'm glad Al is getting some media buzz from this pre-album song. Although, near the end, the article says, after quoting the first chorus:
Despite how that reads, it's actually quite funny and well produced.
Is that a slight against Al? Should I be mad? Or is it some weird English humour (notice the spelling?)?
Those kooky English!
Oh yea, thanks Adrian!

I think, more than anything, they're pointing out how Al's lyrics always need to be heard to be their funniest.
