What are you all saying?! Bad Hair Day was amazing! Amish Paradise, Gump, Cavity Search, The Night Santa Went Crazy they're all classics! It's probably his 2nd or 3rd best album!

We all have Lisa Popeil to thank for refining Al's voice talents. Also, I too agree that his more recent albums are the best, Off The Deep End, Bad Hair Day, Running With Scissors and Poodle Hat. I just wished Al would parody more album covers like Even Worse and Off The Deep End. Maybe an Eminem album cover spoof? :P

I like some albums better than others, and PH is my current favorite, but I'd say Al is pretty much staying the same; maybe getting a bit better. Some of his older songs are timeless classics, and to improve on them would seem impossible.

In many cases, I think you can judge an album by its polka.

If the question is if the albums are getting better in chronological order, than yes they are. But if the question is asking if the CDs are aging well or not, then I would have to say so to a certain degree. The thing with Al is that his music is not necesarily the perfect music for all ocasions. Even for a hardcore fan. I don't think there are too many people who love Al like their son and like absolutly no other music, so I think many would agree with me.

In other words, I have all of Al's albums and am a dork when it comes to Al knowledge. But that still doesn't mean I can listen to it 24/7. Maybe 24/6, but not 7.

I would have to say my favorite albums are the latest ones. I love RWS and PH, I skip over a few songs in BHD, but not much. Alapalooza isn't my favorite even thought there are some good songs on it. Then again, I love OTDE, UHF, and EW. So, 3 of his latest, 3 of his older ones are my favs.

yes, weird al's vocals have gotten better. the originals seem to be really good lately. On poodle hat, the okay original would be Party At the leper colony, and the best: genius in france.

RWS: Okay original: Truck Drivin Song, Best one: Albuquerque

BHD: Okay original: Callin In Sick, Best one: Everything You Know Is Wrong Or The Night Santa Went Crazy

OTDE: Okay original: I Was Only Kidding, Best One: You Don't Love Me Anymore.

I think that WDTAHTM has Al's best vocal ever. But that's a topic in itself, and I'm sure we already have one.

BTW, "The White Stuff" isn't an original. It's a parody of New Kids on the Block's "The Right Stuff."

I'm the opposite. Ok, well TDS isn't that bad, but Germs is a great song. Though I'm not a fan of the live performance.
i fully agree. i am not a big fan of the truck drivin song either but i love germs!!
al has some great classics, like eat it, one more minute, melanie, and others. so his old stuff is great but i am a bigger fan of the new stuff. only because i have heard most of the originals and i think he has been able to channel more experience into the newer cds. i would have to go with those that say rws and ph are the best aka new stuff.
