I found the link back in November 2001, and started to browse the forum. I didn't sign up for some reason, but I did make this post. Anyway, I kinda forgot about it till early 2003. When I checked it again out of curiosity, I was surprised to see how much the place had grown. I was also happy to see a new set of colors that were easier to read had been implemented. So I joined. I soon got a PM from Dave, who apparently was under the impression that I was dead. I wasn't....and I'm still not.

Anyhow, back on topic, I saw the link at the mothership over a year ago. I browsed it once and then forgot about it. Then, I found the link again last winter. I browsed once in a while, only concerned with finding info on the new album. I joined in April, but rarely posted for a while, since my only time I had Internet access was in my classroom, after the kiddos left. Finally, in June or July I got Internet hooked up at home and since then I've been a regular.

I had just gotten into signing up and posting on forums that interested me. So, I searched for Weird Al on Google and found this place. Like a lot of people here, I didn't sign up right away. But since I was going to the Weird Al concert, I decided to sign up and post something here.
Oh, and while we're on the subject of first posts. Mine was locked, trashed(already a topic) and duplicated (not by me) in another topic. I was kind of put off by it at first (the repost without credit, not the locking), but decided to just say thanks and stick it out. In case you're wondering, here is the locked first one and the non locked second one is stuck in this mess of posts.

I think I heard about it mostly through Elvis. At my Yahoo club he kept mentioning this forum.
