OR you could actually go through the correct channels and write to Jay. Simple. One email and lots of waiting are all that's involved.

I like the idea, scotti, but this is a student film. I know, and you know, Al won't go crazy over this, and waiting for a yes or no would still take time. It also depends on the deadline of the presentation.

You don't even need to ask as long as you're not using Al's music for profit. So a school project is fine. But if you're planning on selling it, then you need to ask (and probably pay royalties).

Well, since there's no deadline what-so-ever, I might as well try to get Al's permission. I'll keep you all updated if I get the blessing from Al.
