Indeed. Of course, if I were to meet that French philosopher guy with the "c" with the little tail in his name (Al's is probably the only article in that Onion series that will make the editors have to use that character) I'd be more inclined to ask him, "So, how did you get a form of exercise wear named after yourself?weird_el @ Jan 7 2004, 04:46 PM wrote: You know Al is doing his job well when he encourages us to look up things like this and this .

I'm also feeling much better about all those big words I put in my fan letter...

"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Haha, that was great. Now, Al did say he was going to start work on the album at the beginning of the year, so do you think this could be a sneak peak at a joke or two from the next album? Hehe, I could picture an original entitled, "The Day Ben Affleck Was Eviscerated By Peacocks."

I hate to go OT, but when did he say this (about a new album being produced this year)?Yankovic Farley @ Jan 8 2004, 11:52 AM wrote: Haha, that was great. He didn't say he was going to produce an album this year but in an interview at American Music Awards he did say he was gong to start writing for a new album.ThewEiRdOne27 @ Jan 8 2004, 09:22 PM wrote:I hate to go OT, but when did he say this (about a new album being produced this year)?Yankovic Farley @ Jan 8 2004, 11:52 AM wrote: Haha, that was great. Writing being the keyword. Sounds interesting (and exciting). Last question: does that mean Al will be releasing an ALbum in 2006? Sounds a bit like it to me.kidcid @ Jan 8 2004, 04:38 PM wrote: He didn't say he was going to produce an album this year but in an interview at American Music Awards he did say he was gong to start writing for a new album.

Actually I think he just said "start working" on the new album. So who knows what that means?ThewEiRdOne27 @ Jan 8 2004, 01:52 PM wrote: Writing being the keyword. Sounds interesting (and exciting). Last question: does that mean Al will be releasing an ALbum in 2006? Sounds a bit like it to me.
Let's see... The tour starts (as of now) in March and looks like it's going to go through September. So if he writes and records the originals between now and the start of the tour (hey, it could happen) Then spends some time with his girls after the tour, he could get revved up and finish up the Parodies in early 2005. So we could have an album in our hot little hands next summer. Just in time to tour again...
