As for kids watching/listening I let my 7 1/2 and 9 1/2 year olds watch and listen all the time. I do skip over some songs that i think would "confuse" them at their age (truck driving song, WBUL and Jerry Springer etc)
I think I would let them go to a concert alone about age 16 - up until that point I'd demand some sort of chaperone. (but given our tastes it would likely be me and I'd enjoy it... )
Are you talking about here?
I'm confused. I never knew it was called WAY: Live! On VH1. Can someone help us out here?
That is confusing. I believe that an edited, shorter version of WAY: Live was shown on VH1, but the video & the DVD have more of the concert than the broadcast version did. The broadcast version was only an hour.
It is an edited version of the DVD/VHS. No medley, and the order is out of place than the DVD/VHS. It's an hour long, if you want to include commercials.
So without commercials, it's about 40 minutes, so buy the lovely DVD/VHS for 50 more minutes of Al goodness and more!
But she DOES have a problem with me going to a concert.
Did she give any reason? Concerts are usually great fun for everyone. Al concerts in particular, usually have a wide demographic of audience members. I've seen all ages there. I brought my mom and my nephew to one (the difference in their ages is 50 years).
I went to my first Weird Al concert when I was around 10 (accompanied by my parents, of course), and my parents found nothing wrong with the concert. From my experiances, I can tell you that there aren't drugs or that kinda stuff at Al's concert. The worst thing you'd probably incounter is a few overly enthusiastic (read drunk) people.

EUREKA!
Thank you Bob!
YEEEHAAAAAAAAAAA!
Go Colonel, Go Colonel!
And the whole world knows I'm Saved, and I'm Proud!
Just tell me once again? Uhhhhhh....
WOOOOHOOOOO!
In case you hadn't noticed, I just figured the reason I *so far* can't go!
Hey, if you've figured out the problem, maybe we can help you remove it... in a plain brown paper wrapper.
And, uh, would somebody (like a mod) be willing to correct the spelling of this topic's title? I know it's terribly picky of me, but it's been bugging me.
